The Great Medical Saint

Chapter 176

Matthew emanated murderous intent as he spoke, scaring Rose. She wondered how he'd gone from being an obedient young man to a savage beast in a matter of seconds.

His murderous intent was almost tangible, and it made her heart tremble. It was only then that she realized he was mysterious, decisive, and ruthless. Most importantly, however, he was beyond her control. Rose smiled daintily and gave him a foxy look. She said coquettishly, "Don't get mad, Matty. I just wanted you to give me some credit. You want to head to room 17, right? Let me take you there." She linked arms with him and led him inside the bar. At the bar counter, the bartenders' jaws dropped when they saw her treating an unfamiliar man like that.

Rose was known for being ruthless. She would even smash a man's head open with a beer bottle. They'd never seen her act so ladylike. Yet, here she was, being so enthusiastic and warm to someone. The bartenders couldn't help wondering who Matthew was and why he was worthy of her acting like that.

Rose led Matthew to room 17. "Here you are. Call me if you need anything, okay? All your expenses will be on me tonight."

Seeing that she was taking the initiative to make an amicable overture, he smiled and smacked her perky ass again. "You can come to me if you need anything, too. Since you're playing nice, so will I." With that, he entered the private room. Rose's smile disappeared as she watched the door shut before her.NôvelDrama.Org copyrighted © content.

She couldn't tell how powerful Matthew was, and he hadn't fallen for her tricks, whether harsh or gentle.

Who could've trained him to become like this? And why was it that she couldn't find out anything about him other than the fact that he'd once set up a company and gone to jail?

She thought about him smacking her ass and suddenly blushed. Then, she bit her lip and mumbled, "You still couldn't resist me in the end. Hmph!"

Inside the private room, Tracy

started complaining the minute she

saw Matthew. "What the hell is

wrong with you? I went to the

trouble of getting someone to help you settle this, but look at you,

arriving on the dot!"

Rachel wanted to tell Tracy to stop complaining but swallowed her words. Tracy was helping Matthew out. She could complain a bit if she wanted. Matthew looked around the room. Only Rachel and Tracy were around.

When he didn't see the so-called bigwig Tracy had invited, he said, "The person you asked for help hasn't arrived yet, right? I'm not late then." Tracy shot to her feet, incensed. Her breasts bounced from her actions. She snapped, "She's long since arrived, you idiot. She's just gone to the restroom.

"Do you know who I've invited here today? She's the descendant of an affluent family and rarely shows up in public.

"You're just lucky that she happens to be in Lambda. Otherwise, you wouldn't have the chance to meet someone like her in your life!"

Matthew frowned. He was suddenly curious to know who this bigwig was. Just then, the door swung open, and a woman entered the room.

Hmm? Matthew was taken aback when he saw Layla. It was such a small world-she'd begged him for forgiveness at Opulent Club, and here she was again. This was their second meeting on the same day.

Tracy hurriedly straightened up when she saw Layla. Seeing that Matthew had taken a seat, she snapped, "Why are you sitting down? Hurry up and greet Ms. Crane!" Matthew stood up and smiled in amusement. "Ms. Crane."

Layla had a snobby look on her face as she sauntered into the room with a hand in her pocket. But when she saw Matthew, she hurriedly pulled her hand out and bowed her head. "Please, take a seat. You don't need to stand.

"I was wondering how I'd be able to track you down. It's a pleasant surprise running into you here. In fact, it's an honor."
