Passion 216
Xavier would have used much harsher words if Malcolm hadn't been present.
When Zayden and Marlene left Clifford's room, their faces were red in embarrassment. Zayden didn't even care to maintain his composure anymore. "Who does Xavier think he is to lecture me? I'm older than him!"
Marlene walked next to him while holding Malcolm's hand. She was furious as well. "That cousin of yours didn't leave a shred of dignity for you. He sure belittled us in front of Malcolm and Mr. Lane Senior." 1 She looked toward Xavier's room and suddenly smirked coldly. "He probably still doesn't know who's the joke here."
Zayden was confused. "What do you mean?"
She scoffed. "Haven't you heard? He has brought that deaf woman home.
"So what?" He thought it was a shame whenever he thought about Yvette. She was pretty but hearing- impaired, and she had to rely on hearing aids whenever she went out.
"Don't worry, darling. I make sure he regrets humiliating us today." She bit her lip and added, "You have no idea! Yvette has feelings for another man!"
Marlene was the only one who knew about this, and she learned about it by chance. She had never said anything about it before because she wanted to see Yvette make a fool out of herself.
Now, she couldn't wait for Xavier to find out what it felt like to be a laughingstock and truly useless!
When Xavier returned to the room, Yvette was already lying in the bed and reading a book. The soft light shone on her, complementing her side profile and making her look gentler than ever.
He threw his coat aside and took off his tie. Then, he slowly unbuttoned his shirt and asked, "What did my mom want from you?"
When she looked at him, he only had his underwear left on him. Yvette immediately looked away from his muscular body. "She wants me to get pregnant with your child. She even said she would give me two billion dollars for a child."
"Did you agree?" He quickly approached her and got close to her ear.
"No. I don't want to sell my child." When she turned her head, her lips grazed the side of his face.
Xavier's heart skipped a bit, and he didn't know why he felt a little disappointed. He lifted her with a single arm, and she stopped him. "Can you promise me something?"
He breathed heavily. "Let's talk about it later."
"No. I want to say it now."
Xavier was put on the spot at that moment. "Go ahead,
"I want to see Noah for the holiday tomorrow."
"No." He rejected her request right away. "You saw him a few days ago."

"It's natural for mothers to watch to see their children as often as they can. I miss him a lot. If I can't see him tomorrow, can you tell me when I can see him? I want to spend more time with him." She had done this so many times that she knew how to get him to say yes to her requests now.
She purposely avoided his touch and moved backward. It seemed like they couldn't continue what they were doing if he didn't agree to her terms. No man would think that much at a time like this, and as expected, it was the same for Xavier.
"The day after tomorrow."
"Alright." She nodded.
Xavier gulped slightly. "How should you thank me?"
She didn't understand. "For what?"
"You'll have to satisfy me tonight."
He really had perfectly learned what Noah had done before. Yvette understood what he meant Immediately and thought he was shameless. She blushed and said, "But I don't know how to do that." He looked at her dotingly. "It's alright. I can teach you.)
