Chapter 41
The person didn't kiss or talk to her.
Their surroundings were dark and quiet. Only the sound of raindrops falling on the car window could be heard.
Sabrina waited until someone came. She sobbed in grievance when she couldn't sense any movement from the other person. Her soft cries in such an environment affected the man.
Although it was difficult to discern the man's face in the dark, he seemed to be holding back and appeared displeased.
When Sabrina could move freely again, she hugged his neck and hurriedly said, "Gerald, why aren't you kissing me? Don't you like me anymore?"
A playful chuckle sounded in the dark. Then, Sabrina kissed him.
The man said hoarsely in the darkness, "You asked for this."
Gerald was rendered speechless when he drove his car over. He called Justin but Justin didn't say anything after the call was connected.
"The surprise you wanted to give me was to watch people get intimate on a rainy night?"
"Gerald, are you dense?"
Justin sighed. Oliver was already on his way to Gerald's house when he informed Gerald. However, Nelson intercepted them, and Gerald had only just arrived. Gerald was always late to the party. Justin had no idea what he was so preoccupied with.
"What do you know? I'm a good man now. Sabrina recommended many business-related books to me. I was reading at home and just completed my notes on them."
Justin was at a loss for words. For a moment, he didn't know what to say.
He thought the way people ended up together was really unpredictable.
"Gerald, go to the car and see who's inside." NôvelDrama.Org content.
Justin wanted to help Gerald end this tragic relationship. He figured that it was better for Gerald to make a clean break before he was in too deep so he wouldn't have to suffer much.
Gerald exclaimed, "It's inappropriate for me to go and see!"
Gerald looked at the new car from a distance and found it familiar.
"Isn't that the car you brought back just a few days ago?"
Gerald was dumbfounded.
"I don't suppose it's your woman in the car."
Justin sighed and bit his tongue.
"Yes. Can you do me a favor? Check who the adulterer is."
"Sure."
Dylan, who was seated in the passenger seat, turned to look at Justin.
"Isn't this too cruel?"
"Cruel? You don't understand Nelson."
Justin felt it would be best if Gerald backed down. The sooner he ended it, the less Sabrina would suffer.
…
Sabrina's mind began to clear a little until a beam of headlights shone in her direction. Suddenly, she became very nervous.
A tall man with an umbrella emerged from the car as the light shone. He wore casual pants and a black puffer jacket. His face was obscured by a black umbrella.
When he drew closer, Sabrina finally saw the man's face. It was Gerald.
She turned around in panic and met with another man's bloodshot eyes.
Upon seeing him, she asked, "It's you?"
Nelson's jaw tightened.
"It's me. Are you disappointed?"
Sabrina gulped when she saw Gerald walking toward them. Gerald stood near the car and raised his hand to knock on the window.
