"She said we didn't spend enough time with her. Other parents can spend a lot of time with their kids, so why can't her parents?" Linda explained. "What did you tell her?"
Linda turned the question on Samson. "What do you think I told her?"

Samson knew Linda well.
"I've always been helpless with kids.
