Your Love Is My Weapon

Chapter 316

Chapter 316

There were a few photos and an ultrasound sheet, on which was the same name as she had seen on

Xavier's desk.

That meant the woman in the photo was that pregnant woman.

Arya sat down on the bed and stared at the photo.

Judging from the photo, they should be in the coffee shop. Opposite the woman was Xavier, who

seemed to be talking about something.

Who sent her the photo?

What was his purpose?

What was Xavier's relationship with this woman?

There were too many questions.

Arya sat alone in the room for a long time, but she didn't figure out who sent it.

It seemed that the person who had sent it wanted her to see Xavier being with another woman.

She took a deep breath and put everything in the drawer.

Arya had been in a daze all day. She sat alone in her room after lunch till dark.

Nanny Joy noticed that something was wrong with her, but she said she was fine as being asked.

So she called Xavier.

Xavier was ready to come back.

"What's the matter?" He asked as he walked out of the company.

"Madam locked herself up in the room after receiving a letter," Nanny Joy said.

Xavier raised his eyebrows slightly. "What's the letter about?"

"I don't know. She read it in the room." Nanny Joy could tell that Arya was in a bad mood after reading

the letter.

"I see." Xavier hung up the phone and walked towards his car. Then he pressed the unlock button of

the key in his hand and got into the car.

There was a traffic jam at this time, and it took him half an hour to arrive at the hotel.

He got out of the car, walked through the hotel lobby, and was stopped by Cullen's Deputy when he got

on the elevator. "Are you free now?"

Xavier turned around and saw the person standing behind him. He nodded slightly. "Lead the way."

The Deputy led the way through the corridor and came to the private room of the hotel. He opened the

door but did not go in. Instead, he said to Xavier, "The old chief is inside."

Xavier walked in. Cullen sat at the mahogany table with a set of celadon tea sets on it, which was

freshly brewed and was enveloped in white mist. He poured a cup and placed it opposite him. He

looked up at Xavier and said, "Sit down please."

The Deputy behind him closed the door and guarded outside. Xavier sat opposite Cullen, picked up the

tea, and sniffed it gently at the tip of his nose.

He wasn't in a hurry to speak but waited for Cullen to say something.

"What do you want?" Cullen looked at him seriously.

He had known the relationship between Arya and Xavier, and now he needed his answer.

There was some misunderstanding about this matter, but it was a fact that Arya was wronged.

If Xavier did not give a satisfying answer, he would take Arya away.

Cullen was old with grey hair. After experiencing this much, he looked unusually serious.

When Xavier saw Cullen's Deputy, he had guessed what he want to say.

He put down the teacup. "What do you want me to do?"

All Cullen cared about was Arya's status.

"Our family has to be aboveboard." He wanted Arya and Xavier to get married and hold a wedding

banquet.

Wouldn't Xavier want to provide Arya a position?

He wanted to, badly.

But it won't work at this time.

It was nothing but because Arya was still in a weak condition that couldn't do anything about it now.

"Why do you hesitate?" Cullen was obviously unhappy, thinking that he was unwilling.

"I really want to satisfy your requests, but it is not the right time..." Text © owned by NôvelDrama.Org.

"Then when is the right time?" Cullen raised his voice.

If he were younger, he would have stood up and slapped the table.

Xavier sighed slightly. One would still be impulsive even when he was not young anymore.

Just like Cullen now, he only cared about Arya's status and her grievance with the man but ignored her

physical condition.

"She's feeling not well now." Xavier didn't want Cullen to worry about this. He would do it himself.

"When the child is born, we will hold the wedding upon your arrangement."

Cullen frowned. How could he forget Arya's current condition and not be able to do anything about it?

She has been pregnant for several months. If anything happened, it would not be worth the loss.

Cullen was annoyed and embarrassed. "I was too anxious."

Xavier understood it.

After all, he was so old and would naturally care about her as she was his only family.

Xavier invited him to come back with him.

It was exactly what Cullen had expected.

He thought it was because of his health that he didn't go to Arya. Now that he wanted to see her, it

would be good to have dinner with her.

When Cullen was in the hospital, the Deputy wanted to tell Arya that she was the only relative of the old

chief. She should go and see him.

But Cullen didn't want her to know that he was sick, so he didn't allow anyone to tell the news.

Xavier pushed Cullen upstairs in the elevator.

Nanny Joy had prepared dinner, and Arya had come out to play with Ryan in the living room.

She was stunned for two seconds before seeing that Xavier and Cullen came in together. She didn't

know how to get along with this family member.

Should she call him "grandpa"?

She was so uneasy that she couldn't speak out. She needed some time to get used to it.

Cullen wanted to hear her call him grandpa, but he also understood that it would take some time.

Nanny Joy didn't know that there were guests at home, so she cooked two more dishes.

Ryan sat beside Cullen and blinked, curious about the guest who just arrived.

Cullen was a little excited. Now he not only found his only granddaughter but also a great-grandson.

Cullen picked up food for Ryan. "Eat more and you'll grow taller."

Ryan said politely, "Thank you, grandpa..."

"Well, you should call me great-grandfather."

Cullen hurriedly corrected Ryan.

"Great-grandfather?" Ryan tilted his head and looked at Cullen. "What does that mean?"

He didn't know the difference between great-grandfather and grandpa.

Cullen patiently explained to him.

After listening, Ryan nodded. "I see."

After dinner, Cullen did not leave immediately. He played with Ryan and was happy.

It was almost nine o'clock when the Deputy reminded him to take his medicine, so he reluctantly went

back. Before he left, he said to Ryan, "I live downstairs. You can go and play with me here."

Ryan nodded. "OK."

And then something seemed to occur to him and he asked Arya, "Is that okay?"

Arya agreed, and Ryan grinned with her permission.

Arya and Xavier sent him out. Although Arya hadn't called him grandpa yet, she respected him a lot.

Cullen waved his hand and told them to get into the house. "Go in. There is no need to see me off. You

need some rest."

Arya looked at the Deputy. "Please take good care of him."

The Deputy straightened up. "No problem. Miss. Don't worry"

Arya looked stunned as hearing the title.

She didn't relax until the Deputy pushed Cullen into the elevator. She turned to Xavier and said, "Come

in with me."
