Your Love Is My Weapon

Chapter 292

Chapter 292

Cullen greeted him first in the parking lot. "Hello, kid, do you live here too?"

Ryan nodded.

Nanny Joy picked up Ryan and asked, "Do you know this man?"

Ryan shook his head and said, "No."

She frowned. Why did this man say hello to Ryan since he didn't even know him?

Cullen just thought it was too coincidental. He had seen Ryan last time in Eastlawn Cemetery, and now

he met him here today. He wanted to take the opportunity to ask about his mother.

In the end, Nanny Joy was not willing to let Ryan speak with a stranger and carried him upstairs.

Now that there were so many traffickers, she had to guard against him.

The Deputy asked in a low voice, "Do you like that child?"

Cullen sighed slightly, "I want to know if Harriet is Danielle's child."

The Deputy understood, "It shouldn't be long before the results come."

Cullen nodded. "I'm tired. Help me upstairs."

The Deputy wheeled him upstairs.

Ryan went upstairs and Arya was still taking a nap. Nanny Joy wanted to go to the supermarket, but

she didn't want to wake Arya up, so she took Ryan out. Now they would cook at home. Although there

was everything in the restaurant downstairs, they were tired of eating there.

Besides, it was not a Chinese restaurant, which was clearly not to their tastes. Arya didn't want to eat in

the restaurant, so they cooked at home. This is property © NôvelDrama.Org.

Nanny Joy wanted to cook chicken soup, but there was no chicken at home.

After Nanny Joy took Ryan away, the room quieted down.

Even if this was a hotel, the soundproof effect was very good. And they stayed on the top floor, so it

was almost far away from the disturbance below.

Arya woke up from a dream scared.

She dreamed that she was bleeding...

She was drenched in sweat and her mind flashed red as she held the quilt.

After a long time, she finally calmed down. The dream was the opposite of reality. She comforted

herself.

She was sweating all over, her throat was in pain and she wanted to drink water. Her lips were dry, and

there was no one in the room.

She lifted the quilt, put on her slippers, opened the door, and walked out of the bedroom. She drank

some warm water in the living room.

Her throat was much more comfortable after drinking the water.

She didn't want to go out. She nestled on the sofa, took the remote control on the table, and turned on

the TV. She didn't want to watch it, just didn't want the room to be so quiet.

It was getting dark outside, and there were some voices from the TV. She didn't know what it was

playing, and her thoughts were drifting away.

Just as she was distracted, her cell phone rang in the room.

She sat still.

After it was ringing again, she got up and went to the bedroom to get her phone.

When she saw the caller ID on the screen, her calmness was replaced by strangeness and

complication.

After a while, she pressed the answer button, "Hello."

"You didn't want to answer my call, did you?"

She looked down at the table and said, "That's not true."

At this point, Jasper didn't want to get tangled up at this. It was meaningless.

"I'm getting married."

It was not that he had gotten over Arya, but that his mother had threatened him to get married to his

fiancée.

Since it wasn't with Arya, he didn't care who he married.

She was stunned and asked, "When?"

"The second day of August."

There was silence.

"I didn't call you to express my feelings or to announce the news. I just wanted you to know." That was

all. He still remembered the first time he saw her. She was covered in blood, holding his trousers tightly,

begging him to save her and her child.

"I'll go to the wedding."

She blessed him. It was so good for him to find a good woman and spend the rest of his life with her.

He hung up.

She stared at the phone, inexplicably feeling sad.

She should be happy. Why was she sad?

She didn't know.

Maybe it was because of guilt.

Jasper had been with her for four years and guarded her for four years. She failed him.

"What are you thinking, so focused?"

Xavier glanced at the phone in her hand, and the call log showed Jasper's name.

She snapped back to her senses all of sudden and she raised her head, "Why did you make no

sound?"

He even called her name when returning, but she didn't hear him. Now she said he was walking

quietly?

Jasper called, and she was completely distracted?

She put down her phone. She was not in a good mood. She didn't want to talk or move. She then

walked to the sofa in front of the window and sat down. She slouched on the sofa and hugged her legs.

She didn't know if she was frightened by the dream or if she was sad when she remembered the past

because of Jasper.

Xavier walked over and hugged her, "What's wrong?"

She was silent.

He pinched her face. "Tell me who provoked you. I'll tie him up and throw him into the sea to feed the

fish."

Xavier was not jealous of Jasper but cared about Jasper's love for Arya.

Four years was not short. When she was in trouble, Jasper helped her. She would always have a place

for him in her heart.

However, Xavier wanted to occupy her whole heart.

Why did Jasper call her when he knew she would never be with him?

Arya felt the pain and pushed him hard, "It hurts."

"Do you still know the pain?"

Xavier's expression changed quickly, trying to suppress his anger. He was angry, but in the end, he

suppressed it.

She said casually, "I'm human. How can I not know the pain?"

She said it unintentionally, and he took it to heart.

"Where does it hurt?" He tickled her.

It itched so much that she couldn't help but laugh, "Take your hand away."

When she laughed, there were shallow dimples at the bottom of her lips, which could only be seen

when she smiled.

He didn't let go and liked the way she smiled.

Her smile was like the red wine in a glass, gently rippling, and then inadvertently rippled into his heart,

gradually occupying all his heart.

He reached out and rubbed her hair, "I'll be with you from now on, okay?"

Jasper spent four years with her. Xavier was willing to spend the rest of his life with her.

She looked at Xavier, "He's getting married."

He paused for a moment before he realized that. 'Jasper is getting married?'

'So she is depressed because Jasper is getting married?'

Xavier was always sensitive when it came to things about Arya and Jasper.

What an insecure performance.

He then smiled in self-deprecation.

He owned this woman, and Jasper was getting married. 'What am I afraid of?'

The bride and groom were probably not as happy as Xavier.

Jasper could never pester Arya anymore.

The smile on Xavier's face deepened. She had never seen Xavier smile so brightly before.

He smiled as innocent as a child.

She held his face and asked, "Xavier, are you that happy?"

"Yes, I am." When he finished, he raised a smile slightly and looked down slowly. He fixed his gaze on

the collar that she pulled open accidentally. He somehow felt thirsty.

There was a wicked fire running in his blood like crazy...

"Arya..."
