Turning Of The Tide (Natalie and Trevon)

Chapter 615

Chapter 615

Joseph, Christina, and Angie had just arrived at Sapphire City when they reported their safety to Emma

in Athana. Christina was afraid that Emma would be worried, so she specially took the phone and

asked Angie to say a few words. "Emma, we're already home. You don't need to worry about us. I'll

take care of Joseph and Christina. You just focus on taking care of Ava."

Emma was relieved after hearing Angie's sharp words.

Emma was very satisfied with Christina. Christina could be described as impeccable, with the ability to

understand people just like her son. With just a gesture or expression from others, they could deduce

their thoughts and always managed to solve problems ahead of time. Emma felt that Joseph being able

to marry someone as exceptional as Christina was truly the luckiest thing in his life.

Back at home, Joseph immediately sent a message to Ava, reassuring her not to worry. Ava was also

in a good mood when she received Joseph's message. After eating a big bowl of swift grain Grace

sent, she sat on the bed and chatted. Frank sat on the sofa with his legs crossed and kept twisting his

sore neck. His hands kept shaking the cradle.

Grace and William were both very happy because their grandchildren had been born. Grace prepared

different gifts for them. The gift for her granddaughter was a set of custom-made diamond jewelry

pieces from her own jewelry company.

While the gifts for her grandson were entirely made of gold. One couldn't help but say that the Roberts

family was truly wealthy.

However, William felt that what Grace had prepared was still not enough, so he went on to customize

two sets of golden utensils.

Seeing this, Frank and Ava did not stop them. They could prepare whatever they wanted, as long as

they were happy.

At the same time, Emma prepared pendants for her two grandchildren. Although small, they were of

the finest quality, crafted from materials that Joseph had searched for a long time to find.

Ava held the affectionate gifts given by everyone, wearing a charming smile. She turned to Frank and

playfully made a triumphant gesture, as if suggesting that Frank had fallen out of favor.

Seeing that Ava was so happy, Frank smiled as well, his face full of indulgence.

Grace walked to the sofa, sat down next to Emma, and took out a piece of paper from her pocket.

Neatly arranged on it were many names. After a moment of contemplation, she stood up again, walked

to the bedside, and handed the paper to Ava. "Ava, take a look. I had someone help us choose names

for them. William and I aren't very literary, so we sought assistance in naming them."

Rose and Frank's names were both chosen by William and Grace according to their own preferences.

When they named Rose, their intention was for her to possess a life as beautiful as a rose. As for

Frank's name, it was chosen by William, who hoped that Frank would live freely and always be

confident.

The initial task of naming the twins was assigned to Daniel and Emma, but in the end, Daniel passed

on this opportunity to William.

William had considered carefully when naming his grandchildren. He didn't personally come up with the

names. Instead, he spent a significant amount of money to hire someone to help them with the naming

process.

Ava was very curious about the names. She took the paper excitedly and stuffed the gift in her hand

into Frank's hand. She smiled and said, "Save it for me first."

Her slender fingers smoothed out the crumpled paper and she looked at it carefully. She muttered the

names on it one by one.

Ava muttered all the names on it. She was starting to feel a little troubled. There were so many names,

but she didn't know which one to choose.

Grace had already sat back on the sofa. She glanced at Ava, who was pouting and have a troubled

expression. "Take a look. Choose whichever you like."

After listening to Grace, Ava placed the paper in front of Frank. She wanted him to choose with her.

She tilted her head and asked, "Frank, which one do you think is better?"

Frank's literary cultivation was also lacking. He squinted at the names on the paper and said,

"Whichever you like."

The final decision still rested with Ava. She took back the paper, puffed out a breath, leaned in for a

closer look, and ran her fingertips over each name, contemplating which one was better.

No one present disturbed her. They just quietly watched Ava think. Ava was focused on choosing

names, constantly comparing which ones were better.

About a minute later, Ava tapped her fingertips on the paper and looked up. "I've made up my mind. I

think both of these are just great. What do you think?"

Frank's hand shook the cradle as he lowered his head to take a closer look. His gaze was fixed on the

names Ava had chosen on the paper. He opened his mouth and said, "Cyril Roberts and Nona

Roberts?"

It sounded good.

Ava nodded and turned to look at the two women. "Mom and Mrs. Grace, what do you think?"

Emma whispered softly and tried calling out the two names, "Cyril Roberts, Nona Roberts, Cyril, Nona.

Sounds good."

Grace also nodded. "Yes. These two then."

Just as they chose the names, the door was gently pushed open. William and Daniel entered.

Seeing the two of them enter, Ava couldn't wait to share the names she had chosen. She smiled and

said, "Dad, I've chosen the names. These two."

Frank took the paper from Ava's hand and handed it to Daniel. He told Daniel the names Ava had

chosen. Daniel lowered his gaze and looked at them. He nodded and felt that it was not bad.

William repeated the names several times. "Well, Ava, you have good taste. Both are good names."

After saying that, William went to see the children. "I'm going to wash my hands." He said this to Grace,

who was looking at him. Seeing that he had washed his hands, Grace looked away again. William

stood by the cradle and said, "Our babies have names now. Frank, tomorrow morning, go register their

names."

Grace said, "No rush, let's wait until they're discharged before going to the registry. Frank needs his

sleep in the morning."

Frank agreed. "Okay, I remrmber."

Seeing that Frank had agreed, Grace did not say anything else.

The next day, Frank, with dark circles under his eyes from rocking the cradle all night, went to register

the children's identity information. Just after completing the process, he came out and drove for a while.

The car was driven by Benjamin. They originally thought that their night shift would end after Ava gave

birth, but it turned out that it was not the case. It was just that their standby location had changed.

Originally they were on standby in the courtyard of the Roberts' Villa. Now, they were on standby in the

parking lot of Athana Hospital.

The person on duty today was Benjamin. He had brought Frank out early in the morning.

There was no bright sun. It was a cloudy day, and the sky was gray, looking like it was about to rain.

After finishing it, Frank was extremely sleepy. He wore a pair of black sunglasses on the bridge of his

nose, covering his bruised eye bags tightly. He crossed his arms and closed his eyes to take a nap.

Horns honked one after another. At first, Benjamin did not notice it until the car side by side kept

honking. Only then did Benjamin open the window.

"Hey, good morning. What's going on here? The driver isn't wearing sunglasses, but the passenger is.

Are you in the mood to pretend to be blind today?"

Benjamin was speechless for a moment. He had seen Hackett before. He greeted Hackett warmly.

People who liked to chat always gathered together and kept talking. "Good morning, Mr. Blackwell, are

you heading to work?"

Seeing Frank motionless and ignoring him, Hackett glanced at the countdown of the traffic light and

teased. "Benjamin, why don't you check Frank's breathing to see if he's still alive?"

The sleepy Frank opened his eyes and slid down his sunglasses with his index finger, revealing his

cold eyes. He tilted his head slightly and threatened. "If you want to die here today, continue."

The traffic light happened to turn green. Hackett waved at Benjamin, stepped on the gas, and quickly

drove away, leaving Benjamin bewildered. It wasn't until the car behind honked that Benjamin pressed

the gas pedal again.

As soon as the car started, Frank received a message on his phone. The message was from the

fleeing Hackett. [Sunglasses to block the smog or the rain?]

Frank put on his sunglasses and read the message. He did not reply. He placed his phone in the

central control and could not be bothered with it. He continued to sleep.

At noon, Rose and Sherri came to the ward for lunch.

The moment they entered, they saw the dining table was already filled with delicacies. They looked and

smelled good. They were all Rose and Frank's favorite dishes. Lunch was sent by Grace from the

restaurant, and she had ordered the dishes.

William and Daniel would not come to the hospital at noon. Daniel felt that since he had nothing to do,

he would help William share some work.

Rose and Sherri pushed open the door and entered. Rose went straight to the dining table. Five

minutes ago, her mother had sent her a message asking her to come upstairs for lunch and bring

Sherri along.

"Wow, they're all my favorites. Thank you so much, Frank. I love it." Rose thought that Frank had

ordered them.

"I didn't have the time to order." Frank thought about how he didn't even have time to sleep now. How

could he have the time to order food? He couldn't wait to sleep for a few hours.

Frank had never thought that sleeping until he woke up naturally would become something he looked

forward to one day.

Upon hearing Frank's words, Rose thanked Grace instead. "Thank you, Mom. Ava, what do you want

to eat?" Sherri, who was following behind, smiled. "Mrs. Grace, I'm here to freeload."

Emma smiled. "You must be joking. Hurry up and sit down to eat."

Sherri nodded. "Alright, I will eat then."

The little babies in the cradle finally slept soundly. Frank let go of the cradle and moved his wrist. At this

rate, he would soon get tendon sheath inflammation.

Ava raised the oatmeal and soup in her hand. "I eat these. They're delicious."

Rose had already sat down and started eating. She asked Emma to eat along with her and said to Ava,

"Ava, you have to listen to Dr. Landor about postpartum matters. You can ask me about the children's

issues. I'm more professional."

Frank picked up the fork. Upon hearing it, he said slowly and teasingly, "Are you saying you'll tell Ava

how you used the robot vacuum to play with Harper back in the day?"

Rose threatened. Drąмanоvels.com

Sherri, who was eating a luxurious lunch, looked up and asked Ava, who was eating in small bites on

the bed, "Ava, how do you feel today? Are you feeling unwell?"

Ava's urinary catheter had already been removed. Frank would help Ava walk around the room after

the children fell asleep. However, he would not let her walk any longer. He would increase her walking

time step by step every day.

"I am quite fine. It doesn't hurt as much as yesterday. I'll let you know when I'm feeling unwell," Ava

said.

Sherri held the fork and stopped eating. "Alright, let me know immediately if you're not feeling well. This

is not a small matter. My next task will be taking care of Rose."

Grace knew that Sherri had recently been called over by Juana to stay in the Landor family for a long

time because of taking care of Rose. "Sherri, I'm sorry to trouble you taking care of Rose"

"Hey, Mrs. Grace, setting aside the fact that Rose is my sister-in-law, we're best friends, right?" C0ntent © 2024 (N/ô)velDrama.Org.

Rose added, "That's right. We're all best friends."

After lunch, Grace politely prepared fruits for everyone, but Ava didn't eat them. Frank wanted her to

slowly eat something that was easy to digest, such as pasta, swift grain, and postpartum meals whose

recipes he kept on his phone.

He had saved these recipes for a long time, but he had never tried making them.
