Chapter 2086 The Four Children Of The Jones Family, Gary Smith (Part 861)
"Yes, that's right, I just want to see Gary in pain. Why can't I?" Xyrion got even more agitated, he shouted, "He has hurt someone else so badly, shouldn't he be in pain too?"
"What does it have to do with you? This is Janice's problem," Lowell said in a low voice.
"Janice's problems are my problems," Xyrion sneered, "I like to meddle in other people's problems. I want her to be happy. I want to help her pursue her happiness, I am doing all of this voluntarily. This has nothing to do with you. Why do you want to meddle in other people's affairs? If you can meddle in her business, why can't I?"
"That is because this problem has always had something to do with me. Because Janice was using me," Lowell spoke in a low voice, "She used me to get closer to Gary, she also tried to destroy Gary and Celeste's relationship."
"So what if she used you?" Xyrion sneered, "I think that you trying to frame Janice just because you can't get her. You have a dirty mind, you don't deserve Janice's love at all."
Lowell realized that no matter what he said, Xyrion would not come to his senses, he had fallen in too deep.
He frowned, he had wanted to persuade Yandrea's stubborn brother.
He was best friends with Yandrea, so he hoped that Yandrea's younger brother would wake up.
However, the truth was right in front of his eyes, it did not look like it would be easy to get him to realize it.
"Xyrion, I think that you won't be able to hear anything I say anymore," Lowell said earnestly, "I hope that you can calm yourself down and think about it. Even if you feel sorry for Janice, even if you think that you are giving everything to this woman, is this a good way to help her?"
Xyrion was stunned. It was obvious that these words had triggered him. It stunned him for a moment.
You saw the press conference too. You heard what she said, how she was besieged by the reporters. Aren't you the one who made all of that happen?" Lowell could tell that he was listening properly now, so he continued to persuade him.
"You think that you are doing this for her, but you are just putting her in a situation she won't be able to face. She might suffer an even more serious
blow than the last time. Things might be even more serious than it already is. She may never be able to recover from it. Do you think you are helping her?"
"I don't care." Xyrion frowned angrily. "I still think that you are the one who is wrong. You are too hypocritical. Gary and Janice have obviously done it, but he wouldn't acknowledge the child. You are trying to make the situation even more confusing and lead the reporters in the wrong direction. You are the detestable one."Exclusive © content by N(ô)ve/l/Drama.Org.
"It may be true that Janice was pregnant, but you and Janice should be clear about how that happened," Lowell said as he stared sharply into Xyrion's eyes.
Xyrion sneered and continued, "I know that you are just here to trick me, but I have told you, it won't be that easy."
"Yes, I admit it," Lowell admitted. "The truth will eventually come out. We might not have any evidence now, but that does not mean we won't ever have it. There is no imprable wall in the world. We will find the evidence. We already have something to prove that Janice went to the hospital. As long as we can find the hospital records, will we not know how the child came to be?"
Hearing this, Xyrion immediately got angry. "Oh, you think you are so powerful. How amazing! Go ahead and investigate. Why did you come to me? I think you have no solid evidence, that is why you came here to trick me."
"I came here to look for your brother, Yandrea, and also to meet you," Lowell said, "I admit that we still need time to investigate this matter. Also, I hope that you can reconsider your actions, do not continue being misled."
"Bah!" Xyrion still wouldn't listen to him. He walked over and pushed Lowell. "Get out of here. Don't disgust me. Everyone is trying to reason with me, who do you think you are? Why do you still want to reason with me, get out!"
Lowell frowned, he was pushed so hard that he almost fell.
It seemed like there wasn't any way to get information out of Xyrion this time.
However, while he did not have any evidence at all. Lowell was almost certain of what had happened. Xyrion knew what the truth was, he even said it himself. Janice did go to the hospital.
At that moment, Xyrion's expression changed too.
Based on that, he could track down the hospital. If they did do a test tube baby in the hospital, then Xyrion would definitely call the doctors in Boston and ask them to keep it a secret. All Gary needed to do was make a phone call to investigate. After that, he would get his answer. It was so easy.
After Lowell got out of the hotel, he called Gary and Yandrea.
The two of them hacked into Xyrion's mobile phone at once.
Sure enough, Lowell's guess was right. As soon as he left, Xyrion immediately made a phone call to Boston.
He contacted a doctor in the hospital.
Yandrea found the doctor's phone number and address. He immediately left to look for that doctor.
Before Lowell returned home, Gary was already downstairs waiting for him.
When he saw Lowell getting out of the car, he walked over and said, "Yandrea went to look for that doctor. If nothing else goes wrong, we will get answers tonight."
"Really? That's fast." Lowell was surprised. "That is great."
Gary was also a little excited. It would be great if he was able to prove his innocence.
The two of them faced each other, talking and laughing along the way.
Lowell said, "If there is any news today, you should immediately go to Celeste. I will go with you."
Gary was startled before he smiled bitterly. "Let's talk about it later."
He was getting less and less confident now. Even he was not sure if he could prove his innocence. Even if the result could prove his innocence, the problem was whether Celeste would believe him or not.
"Don't say that again. It's still not too late, anything is possible." Lowell said, "You two lovers should get married."
Gary blinked in surprise.
"You two were destined to be together. Not everyone can have a relationship like yours, so you should cherish it," Lowell said seriously.
"Cherish it?" Gary smiled faintly. "I want to cherish it too, but she might not give me that chance."
"You lack confidence, this is not like
you at all Lowell looked at Gary He felt that he had truly changed. In the past, Gary was filled with
confidence. Seeing how cowardly he was now, Lowell's heart hurt.
"A youth's frivolous years will always pass. I am no longer young, I can't be so full of selfconfidence all the time." Gary shook his head with a bitter smile. "But let's see what the outcome is.
If I am innocent, I will try to find her."
"Yes, you will definitely prove your innocence." Lowell was also encouraged as he smiled.
"Do you believe in my innocence now?" Gary raised his eyebrows. "You used to be suspicious of me."
"I'm very ashamed." Lowell laughed bitterly. "I really didn't think it through back then."
"Instead of saying you did not think it through, I think it would be better to say that you would not admit that Janice was that type of person."
Lowell gave him a wry smile and nodded slightly.
He had not wanted to believe that Janice was that type of a woman.
For he really liked Janice.
Gary smiled bitterly then said self-deprecatingly, "I did not expect Janice to be so shameless."
"Now, we all know the kind of a person she truly is." Lowell mocked himself, "My obsession with her is over. It is time I ended it."
Gary understood the meaning of what Lowell said during the press conference. It was to cut all ties with Janice.
He had gotten over it, gotten over himself. He would no longer protect that woman for he had completely given up on her.
"Come on, let's go upstairs," Gary said, "This is
destined to be another sleepless night."
They were doomed to not sleep that night for they still needed to wait for the results of their investigation.
"You can go and rest, I will wait." Lowell looked at Gary's bloodshot eyes and was greatly worried. "You need to conserve your strength. You still have
to find Celeste."
