Chapter 711 Don’t Want to Drag You Into It
Daniella hesitated, but Draco warned, “Don’t leave Jordan Residence. I can’t assure you what’ll happen
once you step out.”
Draco firmly believed Daniella wouldn’t depart. After all, she had to consider the possibility of him
exposing her involvement in the murder incident if she did. He hadn’t exposed her yet, as she was still under Casey’s control. He was sparing her for Casey’s happiness.
Daniella’s eyes brimmed with hatred, but she lacked the courage to say more. She turned and returned to
the house.
Eira paid another visit to Neil at Riverview Villa.
Upon entering, she found Neil asleep on the sofa, one arm shielding his eyes. Papers and photos were scattered around him and on the floor. Eira guessed he had fallen asleep while reading.
As she began to tidy up, Neil suddenly removed his arm and opened his eyes. Startled by Eira’s presence,
he hastily sat upright and stashed the documents behind him.
“Why didn’t you announce your arrival?” Neil started gathering the papers on the floor.

Eira observed Neil in silence as he concealed everything. She questioned. “Why are you so g
around me, Neil?
Neil nonchalantly replied, “I told you last night that I didn’t want you involved in this matter.”
Eira persisted, “But you let me help with the company’s transfer before. Why won’t you share this with me?
I’m not your enemy! It would be better if you confided in me so we could solve this together. Look at the
mess you’re in now.”
Eira held some food containers, and Neil reached for them. She hid them behind her and asked, “Neil, is
our relationship so shallow?”
Neil sighed, appearing weary. “Eirá, let’s eat. Alright?”
Eira replied, “If you can’t treat me as a friend, I won’t eat here today, and I won’t work at Carol’s place
anymore.”
“Eira, stop being stubborn!” Neil’s frustration was visible.
She placed the items on the coffee table and knelt beside Neil. “What’s troubling you, Neil?”
Neil looked away, muttering, “Nothing’s bothering me.”
“Can I interpret that as you’re keeping me out of it to protect me?” Eira asked.
Neil confessed, “I’m powerless in this situation. In fact, I might face unknown dangers, so I don’t want to involve you.
Eira challenged, “Do you think I can’t take care of myself?
Nell clarified, “It’s the other party that’s too powerful.”
“Is it the Jordans? Eira blurted out
Neil gazed at her in astonishment. “What made you think that?”
Eira explained, “In Angelbay, the influential families are the Jordans, Xanders, and Prices. Your relationship with Alex is fine, and you get along well with Carol. That leaves the Jordans. Excluding Evan, it can only be his father.”
Neil chuckled. “You’re too clever for your own good.”
“So, this is related to the Jordans, right?” Eira pressed.
Neil knew Eira would investigate further once she was sure of her target, potentially putting herself in danger. He sighed and began sharing their grievances with Draco.
“So, Neil, you’re disheartened because he’s too powerful, and you don’t know where to begin to make him pay?” Eira asked.
