“Mom said that Ethlyn has her whole life in front of her, and she, too, needs someone to cherish and love her. So, if Ethlyn couldn’t make the decision to give Nathan a second chance on her own, then she would force her to do this. And One day, Ethlyn would thank mom and me for what we did today for her. After all, parents don’t think wrong about their pup, do they?”
Zordan looked at his mate for a good one-two minute, wondering whether his mate was an idiot or naive. Of course, parents sometimes make decisions on behalf of their children; for example, Uncle Brandon was forced to marry Aunt Sophia, and it came out to be the best decision of their life, but for some reason, he just couldn’t digest the fact that Ethlyn was getting engaged to the man again, who didn’t trust her and kick her out of the pack when she needed him the most. Not just that, hell, Nathan hadn’t even apologized to Ethlyn for whatever he did, or did he?
“Does Nathan apologize to Ethlyn for whatever he did in the past?” Zordan asked.
“No. But he was genuinely guilty for what he did.” Reva responded. Her answer didn’t satisfy Zordan, but he didn’t say anything to her. “Are you still mad at me?”
Zordan sighed before replying, “I won’t lie, and the truth is that I don’t like your involvement in blackmailing your sister.” he knew that his mate wasn’t bad, but she was just under the bad influence of her mother. “From now onwards, do listen to your mother’s words but at least discuss with me as well. In that way, things will be clear between us, okay?”
“Okay.” Reva agreed and hugged him happily. When she broke the hug, she saw Roselet in Lemieux’s arms, and they were coming inside again. “Your princess is here.”
“Zordy, I want to go return back to our pack,” Roselet said with a long face.
“Really, Rose? You want Zordan to leave me alone in the middle of the party?” Reva asked to change her mood. “Come with me; I will give you the tour of my home. And do you know I have a lot of chocolate with me?” She added.
Roselet wanted to reject that offer and ask Zordan to leave, but at the same time, she didn’t want to sound mean. Didn’t she want to help Reva by convincing Calvin to let everyone stay for a day more?
Thinking all this, Roselet unwillingly agreed to go with Reva.
After half an hour, Zordan checked the time again, waiting for Calvin, but he hadn’t reached here until now.
‘Only Moon Goddess knows when he is going to make entry.’ He thought, and his mind was barely on Alpha Nathan and Ethlyn, who had finally arrived.
Receiving a signal from Abigail, Reva left from there to get the rings that Nathan and Ethlyn had exchanged when Nathan marked Ethlyn for the first time, which had been sent for polishing and cleaning. The same rings that Nathan asked her to return before kicking her out.
Ethlyn wanted to cut her fingers before wearing the same ring again. For others, it might be a moment to celebrate, but she was feeling like she was getting insulted again.
“Mom, dad!! The rings are not at their place.” Reva informed after coming out of the room in tension.
“What? How is that possible?” Abigail asked in shock and went into the room where the rings were kept to search again. Everyone started whispering and talking about it.
‘Maybe it’s a sign that they shouldn’t get together again.’This content is © NôvelDrama.Org.
‘Maybe Moon Goddess wants the same.’
‘But this is not Moon Goddess’s work, but anyone of us has done this.’
‘But who will think of stealing the ring? & Why?’
These were the things about which everyone was talking about when Abigail walked out of the room angrily and reached near Zordan as if he was the thief.
But instead of saying anything to him, she grabbed Roselet’s arm and asked, “You stole the rings, didn’t you?”
“Aahh!!” Roselet cried in pain.
Zordan growled and pulled Roselet toward him, but he failed to pull her because Abigail’s grip on Roselet’s arms was way too tight, and Zordan just couldn’t use that strength on Roselet because she was a pup, not a thing.
“Leave her arms, Mrs. Smith. You can treat her like that.” He growled again while Lemieux was ready to punch her when Christian pulled Abigail away from Roselet. Lemieux stood in front of Roselet, and Zordan crouched to hug her.
“I can’t treat her like that? This is how a thief is treated.” Abigail growled at Roselet. “Ask her that didn’t she steal the rings when Reva gave her a tour of the house. Ask her. Because no one went in that particular room except Reva and this little thief.”
“There is no way Rose can steal anything, Mrs. Smith.” Damian defended his princess while Zordan wiped the tears of Roselet and asked.
“Rose, sweetheart!! Just tell everyone the truth that you don’t have to do anything with all these things.” Zordan said and then glared at Abigail, “Then I will deal with her for hurting you.”
“Zor…zordy!!” Roselet sobbed. “I.. I didn’t steal.. steal the rings.”
“Did you hear her?” Zordan growled at Abigail.
“I…I just hi.. hide them.” Roselet completed the sentence, shocking everyone.
“Did you hear her now, huh?” Abigail asked, taunting Zordan. “And ‘hide them?’ Really you little thief. You had the intention to steal it, but when you realized that you might get caught, then you are trying to fool us by swiping the word by hiding instead of stealing.”
Roselet shook her head and tried to speak between her cries but failed miserably.
“Mom, instead of blaming her. At least hear her out.” Ethlyn spoke when she saw how history was repeating itself. Last time, it was her who didn’t get a chance to speak, and this time, it looked like Roselet wanted to speak, but she wasn’t able to because of her cries.”
“Don’t go on her innocent face, Ethlyn. You were right yesterday; she is indeed a thief.”
“HOW DARE YOU?” A loud and furious growl roared in the entire house by a very pissed Alpha.

A/N: Tada!! Finally, this was the chapter for which I was waiting to write. Compared to my thought, I could only write up to 80% of what I had thought exactly. But never mind, it is also good. Hehe:) I’m praising myself because you don’t. That’s why do drop your reviews and gems on the story.
