The following day! Nearce sat in the conference room with Kaylia waiting for his current secretary.

“What are you up to?” Nearce asked, looking at her.

“I want to be by your side.” She said responding to him with a smile.

“Answer me, what are you doing here?” Nearce said to her and asked.

“First of all, your secretary is not coming. Second, I’m going to replace her whether you like it or not because you won’t find someone to keep up with you like I can. In all aspects. Besides, I need a job because I don’t intend to depend on you for the rest of my life. So. Mr. Pinnock, the choice is yours and as a reminder if you don’t call me after I leave here, I’m going to sky. Jhonia might be mad but she’s not mad at me, for she’s smart… She knew I was here before her.” Kaylia said telling him his secretary isn’t coming and he won’t find someone in time and to keep up with him like she can, mentioning their time together in other words. Announcing she has no interest in depending on him forever, telling him he has a choice she’s not forcing him. Because to you, she’s the one who took me away not the other way around.” Nearce said stopping Kaylia explaining briefly that Jhonia once apologize to him for her, Kaylie turned around to him as he continues to tell her.

“I told you! I’m going now.” She said to him, then she told him she was going as she leaves the room. After a few minutes when she was leaving the company Nearce called her and she looked down at her phone. ‘Nearce Pinnock’

“You are hired.” Nearce said to her, she smiled and took the phone from her ears.

“You are home, still?” Mrs. Pinnock said, asking.

“Yes, I’m going to take this time to dig into what happened to my parents or I will just let them rest. It’s been years now; I don’t want to chase a case that was closed and hurt myself when they would only want me to be happy.” Jhonia responded explaining what she might or might not do, because she wishes her parents to rest and be happy because she’s happy.

“Okay. If there’s anything you need Jhonia I mean it, ask because I too want to you live a life that will make your true parents happy. I know I don’t have much to offer but what I can offer, I’m willing to offer it. Also, are you not going to work anymore?” Mrs. Pinnock agrees because she knows that once she has made up her mind nothing will change it then offer help telling her to not hesitate to ask for it, then ask?

“I will but not yet, Mr. Knight ask me to give him time and am giving it because he accused me based on what he heard.” Jhonia responded to her and explained…

“Azerjie!?” Jhonia called her, questioning her being there.

“So, you smashed your husband car?” Azerjie asked, looking down at her, Jhonia stood up immediately looking at her.

“Sorry. Lunch yes, lunch let’s go.” Jhonia apologizes, saying then turn picking her stuff fixing her chair and pulling her to the elevator.

“So, the car smashing?” Azerjie said asking reminding her of her question.

“Yes, it was a long time back! The scandal went on and he would come to pick me up from work, I hate it. But I was letting it slide until he accused me of cheating with Kyhe, so I planned for him and so… But what makes you ask me for lunch?” Jhonia responded to her explaining why she smashed Nearce car when she did. As the elevator was going down, she decided to ask her.

“You are like Sky CEO, now after all Kyhe did say you’re his work wife.” Azerjie said to her, telling her that she’s all busy, being her boss’s work wife.

“I am what?” Jhonia asked her to get off the elevator with her, as they walked to the door.

“His work wife. You are someone who takes care of him, pays attention to him, helps him out and more! Work wife. You didn’t watch his interview?” Azerjie said, explaining briefly then asked.

“Yes, but i started watching when it was almost over, I was very busy doing his and my job because he was on that interview. I spend time with the girls in a while, I’m happy you came to me because I would forget to meet with you for sure.” Jhonia said to her explaining she was doing Kyhe’s work and hers. She then speaks of the girls expressing her happiness Azerjie came to her, as she would have forgotten.

“Tomorrow, let’s have lunch again, don’t forget spend the weekend with the girls am sure they will be happy.” Azerjie said to her as they got in the car, telling her to spend the weekend with her friends and they would be happy.

“I planned to but am not sure, Mrs. Quearnis has been asking me out to spend time with her, and for the sake of the contract I never said no. I was hoping to talk to her and see why she keeps asking me out?” Jhonia said, agreeing but explaining why she’s not sure how it will turn out, deciding to ask for her own sake, getting into the car.

“You are distancing a bit. I noticed you have been like that with my new bodyguard, you keep safe distance from him why?” Azerjie said and explained it then ask?

“I do? I helped pick him up! Why are you looking at me like that?” Jhonia asked, looking at her bodyguard then turned her attention to Azerjie and asked.

“My bodyguard and driver are both men and since you’re keeping you distance, I’m wondering if you like women?” Azerjie said to her, wondering and asked.

“Likes women? No, but I’m not sure. After what Nearce did… I too wonder if I will date again or just be alone. I don’t let it bother me that much because I don’t feel the need to be touch by anyone, I’m just focusing on me.” Jhonia questioned with surprise, then replied. She took a moment, then explained to her.

“So, wait… Leave us… You don’t feel turned on when you’re touch in favorable places?”

Azerjie said then told her bodyguard and driver to leave them, after they stepped out of the car, she asked freely. Jhonia looked at her and waited for a few seconds.

“Is this conversation leading up to Mr. Knight by any chance?” Jhonia asked looking at her, Azerjie gave her surprised look before smiling.

“No, but it’s good that your mind rushes to him the second I spoke of intimacy. He he, I’m asking because you’re a women and women gets those once or twice maybe more, am just saying.” Azerjie said but glad she thought of someone regardless, she giggles and said to her.

“No, maybe it’s because I don’t think about it.” Jhonia said explaining to her that it’s maybe because she doesn’t think about it.
