The Omnipotent Dragon General

Chapter 5018

Chapter 5018

The Almighty Dragon General Chapter 5018-Cray had thought about it, and he decided that Zavis was the perfect candidate for the task.

With Zavis’ extraordinary powers and skills, he could easily gain the attention of other cultivators. By using that edge, they

could get the news about the Orstellen Art out in the ten districts as soon as possible.

“Who has the Koloretsua Stone now?” Zavis asked.

Upon hearing the question, the villagers turned their eyes to James, who was standing at the back of the crowd,

simultaneously.

James straightened himself and bowed slightly. He smiled brightly at Zavis. “It’s an honor to meet you, Mr. Zavis. I am

James Caden.”

Zavis focused his gaze on James. After confirming that James had reached the Quasi Chaos Rank, the man frowned. “He

managed to gain possession of the Koloretsua Stone with that level of cultivation rank?!”

Cray responded, ‘You mustn’t take him too lightly, Zavis. He’s achieved many great things in his past life. The man

managed to last in a battle against the second extraterrestrial demon commander at the Chaos Illimita Rank. He even

received Xeraiah’s legacy and mastered the knowledge of the Tenfold Realms Transcendent Sutra.”

In the blink of an eye, Zavis teleported and reappeared right before James. He was so fast that it gave James quite a

shock. The young man unconsciously took a few steps backward.

‘You’re the successor of Xeraiah’s knowledge and legacy?” Zavis fixed James with a piercing gaze.

James stuttered a little, “M… Mr. Zavis, I didn’t receive any formal or direct teaching from Xeraiah Fiadh himself.

However, I have learned the Tenfold Realms Transcendent Art created by him.”

“Very well…”

Zavis’ face broke into a smile. “After I lost the battle to Xeraiah, he entered the sanctuary and created the Tenfold Realms NôvelDrama.Org © content.

Transcendent Sutra. I haven’t had the chance to see him before he was gone. Now, I’ll get to see for myself if the

signature skill created by him is all that great!”

Upon hearing those words, James scrunched up his face.” Isn’t this a bit too unfair for me, Mr. Zavis? I’ve only advanced

to the Quasi Chaos Rank. I am still a long way from regaining all of my powers. How could I possibly try to battle you?”

“I’ll adjust my cultivation base and fight with powers of the Quasi Chaos Rank too,” Zavis suggested.

James fell silent as an idea came to him. He asked, “What if you lose, then?”

‘That’s impossible.” Zavis had no doubt about his skills and capabilities. ‘There’s no way I’m going to lose. Xeraiah was the

only person who could defeat me even though we were

both in the same cultivation rank. Also, we’re just going to spar. This isn’t a battle to decide one’s life and death.”

“I’m just saying what if that happens.” James explained, ” You can’t expect me to agree to a battle challenge so easily. I’ll

need some form of reward as motivation, don’t you think?”

“I’ll become your loyal subordinate if I lose the sparring.” Zavis did not even hesitate as he made the promise. He felt

extremely confident that no one would be able to beat him.

There was a small commotion among the crowd as the villagers heard Zavis’ words.

Cray raised his hand and interrupted Zavis, ‘You’re being too hasty, Zavis. Even though James lost the battle to the

second commander of the extraterrestrial demons, he had nonetheless managed to destroy one of the commander’s

clones.”

Unlike Zavis, Cray had the feeling that James might be able to defeat Zavis if the two of them were in the same cultivation

rank.

Zavis gave a snort. Then, he said, “Let’s move this to the arena.”

Cray sighed with resignation. “Fine.”

The elderly man lifted a palm and began conjuring multiple inscriptions. As more and more inscriptions circled around

them, James and the others could see how their surroundings were gradually changing.

All of them seemed to have arrived beside a huge arena, which was completely surrounded by green, majestic spiritual

mountains.

Zavis teleported and reemerged in the battle arena, followed by James.

The young man had a calm, determined look in his eyes. James had the absolute conviction that he was unbeatable

amongst those who had the same cultivation rank as him. He was certain that he could take down even Emperor Raiah if

the latter were in the Quasi Chaos Rank too.

Meanwhile, the villagers were excited as they waited for the battle between those two men to begin.

“Who’d you say would win?”

“It’ll be King Marciais, of course!”

“Forty-nine claims to be the reincarnation of James Caden. Still, the stories of the battle between him and Mekaisto

Xelqart were words of mouth gathered by Jai. Those stories could have been exaggerated.
