Step out of your white body and imagine the “good guys” knocking on your door and leaving with the life of a loved one.

Now, I can’t speak for you,

but I’d be traumatized.

Though more than anything, I’d be mad.

The fact that people of colour have kept it civilized, despite the fact we’ve done anything except that, is miraculous.

My heart goes out to any person of colour that isn’t being heard or seen, solely because of their race.

These are the “suspicious-looking” strangers you’re shooting at.

The gentle souls you are hanging.

We need change, and we need it yesterday.
