The Contracted Ever After (Cordelia and Ronan)

Chapter 375

Chapter 375

Deanna dialed up Ronan.

"Ronan, is this really true?" Deanna's voice wavered on the verge of tears over the phone.

She had been involved with Ronan for years, but never even got close to him physically. She only stole

a quick peck on his cheek when Cordelia was out of the country. Now, with Cordelia gone again, what

should have been a golden opportunity turned into a nightmare as Tabitha beat her to the punch.

Deanna wanted to know, why was it Tabitha! All content is © N0velDrama.Org.

"No, it's not. It's a photoshopped picture," Ronan replied nonchalantly.

Without a word, Deanna hung up the phone. She quickly dug up information on this so-called "Tabitha."

She was a 26 year old girl, a vocational school graduate, a nurse in a private hospital, and came from

an average family. Everything about her was average.

A victorious smirk crossed Deanna's face. Did Tabitha really think she stood a chance with Ronan?

Later, at the private hospital where Tabitha worked.

Deanna was dressed in expensive, luxurious attire, and stood in front of Tabitha.

Tabitha recognized Deanna; after all, she was once a big star. She just didn't expect her to come

looking for her.

With a resounding slap, Deanna's hand met Tabitha's face. Tabitha's tray clattered to the floor, drawing

the attention of the hospital's patients and staff. Everyone gathered around to watch the spectacle.

Deanna held her head high. "Home-wrecker!" She shouted. "You think you can seduce him? Look at

yourself, chasing after Mr. Evans with that pancake face of yours. You're not even worth the dirt on his

shoes!"

Despite her fury, Tabitha had to maintain her composure. After all, she was at her workplace. Moreover,

Deanna's words were too crude to bear.

"Nothing to see here, back to work!" The head nurse finally intervened, dispersing the crowd.

Of course, the incident never made it to the news. Even if it did, those people in blake suits would

ensure it was quickly forgotten.

Meanwhile, news of Ronan's escapade with Tabitha made its way across the Atlantic to Cordelia's

ears. She was studying at the library when she stumbled upon the scandalous news story. Images of

two blurred bodies flooded her vision. Her heart was pounding at the sight.

Cordelia knew, the more pixelated the image, the more they had to hide. And their faces were still

visible.

It was the same girl Samantha had told her about. They'd moved fast!

In the short month that Cordelia had been away, this had happened.

Cordelia was devastated. She wept quietly at her desk, trying to stifle her sobs in the silent library. She

felt so helpless.

That was just who Ronan was!

What could she do? Even if she went back, there was nothing she could do!
