Xavier suddenly brought up Noelle again. Could it be that he ran off earlier because he saw her?

"Don't bring up Simon again." Xavier's expression darkened at the mention of Simon.

Realizing her mistake, Winter quickly fell silent. "I didn't mean to... I had no idea Simon would turn out to be like that!"

While Winter and Xavier were finishing their shopping, Charles and Noelle were also in line to check out.

With his keen eyesight, Charles immediately spotted Xavier and Winter not too far away. He narrowed his eyes, and a faint smile played on his lips. Noticing Charles suddenly smiling, Noelle asked curiously, "What's so funny?"

Charles retracted his gaze. "Nothing."

"Really?" Noelle followed Charles's earlier line of sight

Upon seeing Xavier and Winter, her brows furrowed slightly. "Why are they here?"
