The Billionaire’s Maid Bride

Chapter 277

Chapter 277

After safely dropping Penelope off, Lucian’s face turned serious. He instructed Shawn, “Keep a close eye on Penelope, and take her to prenatal check–up

tomorrow” Please check at N/ôvel(D)rama.Org.

Shawn nodded, “Sure thing”

Lucian stressed, “Go yourself. Stay on high alert.”

Shawn replied seriously. “Mr. Lindberg, got it.”

He looked at the road ahead, “Mr. Lindberg, are we heading back to Magnolia Gardens now?”

Lucian lit up a cigarette, squinting his eyes, a cloud of pale smoke obscured his handsome face, “Get out.”

Shawn got out, and Lucian drove off.

Shawn took out his phone and called Elisa, “Hey, babe, are you busy? I’m coming over”

Allison had an early shift today. The private room she was in charge of held a party with Tessa and they wrapped up at 10:30pm.

She put in the drink orders for the day, checked everything, and let the cleaners in.

She didn’t leave, but helped clean up.

‘Allison, I’ll clean, you go get changed. You’re off early today.” Claudia said.

Allison’s work was on a room system. She was in charge of one room a week, with two waitresses in each room.

They would change rooms next week. Once the customers left, they could clock off after sorting out the drink bills. But if the customers wanted a late–night service, they had to stick around.

‘Claudia, I’ll help you! While cleaning, Allison found a bracelet on the floor, and she told Claudia to take it to the front desk.

Then she went to the changing room, said goodbye to her colleagues Payton and Ashley on her phone, I’m off, just finished.”

Taking a taxi home would need half an hour, even though Allison thought it was pricey, she still took it as she wanted to get home to Grace as soon as possible.

Back at Blue Mountain Estate, she saw a message from Grace five minutes ago, asking when she was coming back.

She immediately called Grace, ‘Mom, you’re not asleep yet?”

“Not yet, I was waiting for you. Grace said.

–“Mom, I told you not to wait up. My work schedule is irregular.” Allison said.

“I couldn’t sleep, so I thought I’d wait for you.” Grace said.

“Okay, I’m at the gate of Blue Mountain Estate now, I’ll be up soon.” Allison said.

At the security gate, the guard said, “There’s a gift box, don’t know what it is. Some guy dropped it off.”

Allison opened it. Inside was a bunch of blue roses.

Not far away, a black car was parked under a tree. The window slowly rolled down, revealing a handsome man. He quietly watched Allison’s back, seeing her open the gift box

Did all women like flowers?

Lucian tried to read some other emotions from Allison’s face, but aside from surprise, there was no other reaction. He was also puzzled, why did he suddenly have Shawn buy a bouquet for her?

This woman, the less he wanted to see her, the less he could run into her, the more he couldn’t forget her. This strange feeling kept lingering in Lucian’s heart.

Allison looked at the card, but there was no message. She had no idea who sent it, Jason? Or..?

If it was Jason, he would probably send her a message. Jason wasn’t the kind of guy who would secretly give presents and not say anything. She knew him. If Jason wanted to send her flowers, he would definitely send a message saying “I have a surprise for you” first.

She took a few steps with the flowers, and when she passed the trash can, she tossed the roses in.

Not far away, the man’s face immediately changed!

Who said women have to like flowers?

Allison, this woman dared to throw away what he gave her?
