Chapter 444
In the morning, the two got worn out from shopping and decided to hit the cinema.
Allison pointed at a movie poster, “Let’s watch this one, it’s a perfect blockbuster.”
“Why do you say that?” Daisy asked..
Allison explained, “From the studio to the producers, then to the director and actors, they’re all pros in
the blockbuster game. Plus, it’s full of laughs and feels all the way. Sure, there are some parts that
seem out of place. But it’s made by a company that’s good at making crowd-pleasers. Generally, their
blockbusters rake in over a billion at the box office. You could call that a success.”
“Boswell Entertainment.” Daisy glanced at the distributor’s name, “You sure know your stuff. This name
rings a bell though.”
Allison looked at Daisy seriously, “It’s the Boswell family’s entertainment company.”
Daisy’s face changed, “Then I’m not watching it.”
They were about to change their tickets, but only this movie had showtimes available. The other
movies were either trashy, comedies, or cartoons, but all required waiting for half an hour. So, they
ended up choosing this movie.
Halfway through, Daisy admitted, “This movie is actually pretty good.”
The film had been out for over ten days and had already grossed 1.7 billion. Today’s showings were
few and far between, and they just happened to catch this one.
“I heard that Boswell Entertainment is run by Wilton Boswell.” Allison said.
“Who’s Wilton?” Daisy was confused.
“He’s the second son of the Boswell family.” Allison answered.
Daisy was taken aback, “The second son?”
Allison nodded, “Daisy, when you get to the Boswell family, you need to learn to keep your cool. The
Boswell family is known for their intense infighting. Rumor has it that the eldest son of the Boswell
family got sick because of the family struggles.”
Daisy nodded solemnly, “I get it. Don’t worry, I’ll be careful.” Saying this, she tightly held Allison’s hand.
Allison naturally hoped her friend could be happy, but she knew the Boswell family was not a place
where Daisy could live happily.
After leaving the cinema, Daisy booked lunch. The restaurant was on the sixth floor food court, so they
decided to take the elevator.
Allison spotted a flower shop on the fifth floor, so she took Daisy to pick out some bouquets.
The shop assistant asked with a smile, “What kind of flowers are you looking for, ladies? Are they for
your room or a gift?”
Allison replied, “They’re for a friend who’s seriously ill. We’re going to visit her.”
“How old is she?” The assistant asked.
“In her twenties.” Allison said.
“You could choose lavender or roses. They are our fresh arrivals today. Have a look.” The assistant

Daisy asked, “Who are you buying flowers for? Who’s sick?”
“Who else, Penelope.” Allison replied.
Daisy laughed, pointing at a bunch of white carnations, “Then we’ll take these.” She told the assistant,
“Wrap up 19 of these. We’re going to grab lunch first and pick it up afterwards.”
“Alright, ladies, enjoy your meal.” The assistant said.
Allison and Daisy headed to the food court. Daisy had booked a newly opened restaurant. It was the
restaurant’s grand opening today, with all sorts of member discounts, making the place almost packed.
Daisy had booked in advance.
The name of the restaurant had an artistic touch.
“This restaurant is opened by a college mate of mine, so I’m here to show some support.” Daisy said.
“Which classmate? How come I don’t know?” Allison took a bite of the shrimp, it was delicious.
“It’s…” Daisy looked around. The restaurant had only ten private rooms, four upstairs and the rest were
individual tables.
With waiters bustling around, Daisy lowered her voice, “It’s Brady, He pursued you once, even sent you
cakes and fruits through me.”
Allison remembered, “Why didn’t you tell me earlier?”
