The Billionaire’s Maid Bride (Flanagan and Allison)

Chapter 365

Chapter 365

At the Flanagan’s household, Linda was tidying up the kitchen when she heard a crash upstairs. She

shuddered slightly, but ducked her head and continued cleaning, knowing that Leah was throwing

another tantrum.

Ever since Allison showed up, Mr. Flanagan started coming home less and less often. Leah was

constantly in a huff, and even when Mr. Flanagan did come home, they were always in a silent war,

barely speaking to each other. Today was no different, with Leah blowing her top again.

Upstairs was a mess from all the stuff Leah had thrown around, and Linda figured she’d have to go up

and clean that too. Linda let out a soft sigh. If not for the decent wage the Flanagans paid her, she

wouldn’t want to work here anymore, given Leah’s increasingly unstable mood.

Sure enough, after about ten minutes, Margo hobbled over and said, “Linda, go clean up the study.”

Linda muttered in acknowledgment and picked up her cleaning supplies to head upstairs. Margo limped

along behind her, muttering under her breath about that “slut Allison.”

Linda rolled her eyes and headed upstairs, sneaking a glance at the overweight Margo struggling to

climb the stairs.

It was a painful sight to see Margo ascend the stairs. It’d been two months since Allison pushed her

down the stairs, and her leg still hadn’t healed. Every time she climbed the stairs, she cursed Allison. © NôvelDrama.Org - All rights reserved.

But watching Margo’s limping figure was quite comical. She looked like a piece of jiggling fat.

Linda knocked on the door and then walked into the study. Leah was resting with her eyes closed on

the couch, and her chest heaving. Clearly, she was still worked up.

As Linda stepped in, she stepped on something. Looking down, she saw a shattered phone. It wasn’t

hard to guess just how much force Leah had used. She placed the phone on the coffee table and

began to clean up the shards on the floor.

Finally, Margo walked in, huffing and puffing, “Madam, why are you fighting with the master? It’s not the

time to be upset. Let him do whatever he wants…”

Leah opened her eyes and glared at Margo, who immediately shut up. Leah sighed and said, “I’ve

been with Christopher for 24 years. Do you know what he thinks of me? Do you know how my so-called

friends are ridiculing me?”

Margo replied, “Madam, that’s nothing. Ms. Penelope is due in less than two months. Once the baby is

born, she’ll be Mrs. Lindberg. Your friends will be kissing up to you.”

At the mention of Penelope, Leah’s headache returned. Especially with regard to the baby in

Penelope’s belly, things had gotten this far, if the baby died, all would be for naught. But if the baby was

born, it would be impossible to hide the blood relation from the Lindbergs, and that would be a

problem!

“Where’s Penelope?”

Margo replied, “She’s not here yet, I heard she’s playing poker.*

Leah frowned. “It’s late, where could she be? Call her! She’s heavily pregnant, what if something

happens?”

Margo took out her phone. “She should be at the Red Jack Club.”

Red Jack Club? Leah thought for a few seconds. Allison worked at the Red Jack Club, and she still

hadn’t been fired! Serena’s work was truly shoddy! Originally, she had Allison work at the club to

humiliate her, but Allison and her good looks attracted a lot of attention. Many rich clients specifically

asked for Allison’s service and tipped her well. She also met a lot of influential people through this job.

Most importantly, Lucian often visited the Red Jack Club. She was worried that Allison would take this

opportunity to get close to Lucian. If Lucian recognized Allison as the waitress from the hotel, how

could her daughter Penelope ever become Lucian’s wife?

Unfortunately, Penelope was a real disappointment.
