The Billionaire’s Maid Bride (Flanagan and Allison)

Chapter 324

Chapter 324

Allison got home

Grace had left a note on the dining table saying that she had gone out with the neighbors and breakfast

was in the pot. Having eaten breakfast and taken a shower. Allison was surprisingly awake despite

having had a few drinks the night before After some hesitation, she entered Grace’s bedroom

Grace’s room was neat and tidy as she was out She lived a simple life with plain bed sheets and

covers.

Allison squatted at the bedside table, opened the drawer, and found a locked iron box

Allison was raised by her grandmother in a small town. There was a mischievous boy next door whose

father was a locksmith. Once, Allison had wanted two rabbits as pets and her grandmother had got

them for her. However, once the cage was locked, it wouldn’t open. Just when Allison was about to cry

the boy next door opened the lock with a piece of wire

Allison was amazed and asked the boy to teach her. She was always quick to learn and soon learned a

few ways to unlock.

The most brutal way was to smash it open with a hammer. But there were ways to unlock without

damaging the lock if she didn’t want to be discovered

Allison found a piece of wire, gently inserted it, and easily unlocked the lock with the skill she had

learned as a kid. This kind of lock was actually the

easiest to unlock.

Allison thought that Grace probably didn’t know she could unlock locks.

The whole morning, until 12 noon.

Allison’s phone vibrated. She blinked slightly. It seemed like she was just coming back to her senses.

There were two messages on the phone. One was a data usage reminder. The other was from Grace:

[Allie, Ill be back later. There are pastas I made in the freezer. Just heat them up if you are hungry]

Allison’s fingers trembled slightly as she replied: [Okay]

She stood up, took a deep breath, felt a stiffness in her fingers as if she had just woken up from a

dream. She then put the diary back into the iron box in perfect condition, locked it again, and put it back

in the bedside table.

She left Grace’s bedroom and went to the balcony.

The midday sun was warm and bright, but Allison felt a chill in her fingertips that couldn’t be dispelled.

She looked at the dazzling, shiny noon sun, then closed her eyes. All she could see was a huge, bright

ball of light.

The warm sun shone on her face, bringing a scorching heat. But Allison’s face was pale. She opened

her eyes and found her fingers trembling slightly. This belongs to NôvelDrama.Org: ©.

Her father was not Joshua. But Christopher

Grace’s diary clearly recorded the time she was with Christopher. At that time, she was pregnant and

married Joshua

When Grace came back in the afternoon, Allison was about to go out, holding a bag of trash. As soon

as she opened the door, she saw Grace at the doorway

Grace was holding a bunch of things, saying, “Allie, a neighbor told me today that one of her

colleagues has a son about your age. Are you free this afternoon? Go meet him”

“This afternoon?” Allison looked at Grace, not mentioning anything about her origin, and simply

responded, Tm free”

Seeing Allison holding a large trash bag and wearing new clothes, Grace asked, “Are you planning to

go out, Allie?”

“No, I’m not going out” Allison answered, “Mom, have you had lunch?”

“I had lunch with the neighbor” Grace said.

“Mom, what time are we meeting the boy the neighbor introduced this afternoon? Allison asked.

Grace didn’t expect Allison to agree so readily. She had mentioned it a few times before, but Allison

had always refused. Now, Grace immediately smiled and said, “Let me check with her right now, wait a

minute”

Two minutes later, Grace came back and said, “Allie, it’s scheduled for 4 p.m. today. That way, you can

meet him and still make it to work at 8”

Allison just gave à fait smile, ‘Mom, there’s still time. Let’s go visit dad and brother. Bring them some

flowers.”

Grace looked slightly taken aback, “Right now?”
