The Alpha’s Dynasty

The story

Zane.

Kim Dalton a pain in the a** but she was necessary in the grand scheme of things. She was what I would call a necessary evil. Using Kim, I would get what I wanted. And to think I had not thought about it before my assistant got involved in an accident. She presented herself like the whore she was. I could see it in her eyes, and overall look. I had seen a lot of them, they type of women who were willing to do anything to get to the top including selling themselves to the highest bidder. I had been running companies for my pack for a very long time and could spot those from a mile away.

I was not a fan of those kinds of women but I indulged with them when it could benefit me. Kim looked like someone who’d scratch my back even if I didn’t scratch hers. I just had to pretend that I was going to. She was vain, and therefore full of herself. Of course she could doubt that I would fall for her. She would therefore believe me if I lied that I liked her.

Before Johnny returned, Kim worked her butt off.

“I’ll do whatever you want me to do,” she had told me on her first day at my office, before flipping her sandy blonde hair. I couldn’t deny that she was beautiful, but she was nothing compared to the woman that took me to Sunham.

Maya Bennett. The first time I saw her was in the woods. After a rough day, I had been taking a walk in the woods. There was a party nearby, and it involved humans. I hated when humans came to our city because they were so weak and yet stupidly ventured into a territory full of beings that could finish all of them in seconds.Nôvel/Dr(a)ma.Org - Content owner.

I was walking closer to the party venue when the scent came to me. It was so good I had to stand and inhale it. Within seconds, I saw the direction it was from and started moving towards it. From the way I was drawn to it, I knew it was my mate. I had stopped caring about finding a mate two years because it seemed pointless. I was now 30and was beginning to think the moon goddess had something against me.

But when I drew closer, I heard the sound in my voice, from my wolf. Mate! I felt relived, as if a burden I had been holding for years had suddenly been lifted off me. It was the full moon and other wolves were wailing in the darkness.

I could have stared at her in the darkness but when I saw a vampire with her, I lost it. What business did a vampire have with my mate, and why was he taking her to the darkness. Knowing what kind of evil creatures vampires can be, I went after it to save my mate before she became someone’s blood bank.

She ran off when she saw me lunging on the vampire. As soon as she was out of sight, I dragged the skinny vampire into the woods and changed back to human form.

“What were you going to do to her?”

“I was thirsty,” he said. “Why do you care?”

I raised my hand and punched the fool in the face. “What the- Shit, you’re Zane Carrington, the alpha of the Bloodmoon pack.” He said, finally recognizing me. “I’m so sorry.”

“You were not supposed to attack a single human at that party,” I said. “But as usual, you bloodsuckers never listen.”

“I’m sorry, okay. I wouldn’t have killed her. I know her. We work together.”

Now, I was more than interested. I had found someone who could give me the information I needed on my mate.

“Really, where do you work?”

“At Milner Insurance Company. I’m the senior actuarial manager and she is my junior. We work in the same department.”

Oh really? So my mate wasn’t a waste of space. Back when I was obsessed with finding my mate, I use to worry that she would end up being a lazy person who didn’t want to do any work. Those were not my kind of people.

“Milner is in Sunham city, right?”

He nodded. “Can I go now?”

I smiled before snapping his neck. I whistled and my men came rushing to me. “Take him away, and cage him up.”

When he had been taken away, I decided to go and spy on my mate to know more about her. But as I was about to come out of the woods, I saw her and two friends walking to where she had last seen the vampire. I was almost sure she did not know that her friend was a bloodsucking vampire. She seemed so worried about him. I just observed her beautiful face as she looked around. Although the light from the moon was dim, I could see her pretty features because of my strong vision.

The forest was not safe for them so I shifted into my wolf and growled so loud that it sent them running. Humans really needed to stay away from these woods.

After that, I went and grilled Aaron the vampire until he gave me all the information I needed. I decided to keep him for a while because I knew he might put a damper on my plans. You couldn’t trust those creatures.

I did further research and within two days, I had purchased Milner insurance company. The owner, an old man and his son loved the company so much they weren’t willing to sell at first. But when I gave them offers they couldn’t resist, they were goners.

Now I had a new company, which was registered under Bloodmoon group of companies. All these companies belonged to my pack.

I didn’t care so much about the company and I agreed to sell it back to the owners if they wanted it back after a year. They were willing to take it back and we signed a special agreement with all these clauses.

I didn’t want companies in Sunham. I just wanted to take my mate home, and I was going to use the company to get to her.

Yes, I could have done it in so many different ways, but I figured being her boss would be more fun. Besides, I needed time away from my pack. The responsibilities were wearing me out.

So, there I was, thinking of a way to get her attention.
