Star’s POV

I take special care when I get dressed, picking clothes that hide my curves and cover as much skin as possible.

Our bedroom door flies open and through the gap in my closet door I see Max face plant on our bed. Pushing the door open, I giggle as I run and jump on her back.

Her g***n of pain is drowned out by Suzie’s squeal of delight. “group smush,” followed by her full weight landing on my back. All the air left my lungs.

“Get the f**k of me, you fat f***s. I think you have broken something.”

Suzie and I roll off our poor, squashed friend, and we lie back on the bed and snuggle together.

We are just getting into all the gossip I missed while I was in the hospital when the bedroom door opened and a male voice interrupted us.

“Well, a couple of months ago this would have been a fantasy come true, three gorgeous girls in my bed, but alas I am now a one woman man.”

I grin as Ash grabs my ankle and pulls me to the bottom of the bed; he lies on top of me and looks at my friends with a smirk.

“You really don’t want to know what has gone on in those sheets Max, just make sure you keep your clothes on. We don’t want you to get pregnant.”

She streaks and leaps off the bed. “eww gross, dude, that is way too much information.” She brushes her clothes off, shuddering.

Suzie rolls over and stretches, “who sleeps here?” She asks, snuggling the pillow beneath her head. She inhales and sighs, “Ace!”

Laughing, I wriggle out from under Ash and swot her a*s, “hey slut, stop sniffing my man,” she giggles and pounces on me for a hug.

“you know I love you more than anything Star, but you have definitely broken girl code. You know you’re not supposed to f**k your friend’s crush, so you could at least let me have his pillow.”

Looking at Ash with a sly smirk, his eyes have widened his surprise at the revelation that my best friend fancies his brother. She crawls towards him.

“You know Ash, star and I share everything.” She licks her lips at him, and the Greeks flying off the bed, pulling me with him and putting me between him and Suzie.

Max is literally folded over with laughter. Suzie and I look at each other and burst into laughter together.

I pat Ash’s head, which is buried in my neck, “it’s ok baby, I will protect you from my sexuality frustrated friend.”

Lifting me up, he carries me from the room. “On that note, let’s get breakfast, shall we?”

As I finish cooking breakfast, the rest of the guys arrive, and we load the table with enough food to feed an army.

Sausage, bacon hash browns, eggs, pancakes, pastries and sliced fresh fruit. As werewolves, we have huge appetites and I see all the male wolves lick their lips in anticipation.

I grin as I take my seat on Lexi’s lap, Ace on my left and Ash on my right. “dig in guys,” they don’t need to be told twice. I fill a plate for me and Lex to share.

As we eat, we chat about school, but as soon as the last sausage has been devoured.

Kurtis looks at me with a curious smile. “As lovely as this has been Luna, and we would gladly make this a regular treat. I am sure we are not here to discuss school.”

Nodding my head I sigh, “you guys are our closest friends, our inner circle, and there is a lot of information we need to give you, this is going to take most of the day to get through so Alpha Andrew is going to contact school and make our excuses.”

Everyone is silent. They know this must be serious if we are getting a day off from school.

“The first thing I need to do is to test a theory.” I stare at the four warriors, then at my mates. I hold my hands out to Ace and Ash and lean into Lex, knowing Lex is probably the one most likely to jump the table and attack is the reason it’s his lap I am sitting on.

“Guys, I need you to be completely honest with me. The triplets are expecting the answers and have promised that they and their wolves will behave, OK?”

The four boys look at me with fear in their eyes, Lex k****s my neck and looks at the warriors, “it’s ok guys, just answer her questions truthfully and there will be no repercussions I promise, not even on the training fields.”

They look a little relieved and nod at me. I look at Kurtis and Jonah and wink at Natalia and Sofia, “I am not going to ask you to answer until later, when I have explained why I am asking, ok?”

After they nodded, I turned back to the warriors and took a deep breath.

“Since we returned from Christmas break has your feeling towards me changed? Have you started to be drawn to me…… um….. sexually?”

Silence fills the room. All eyes are on me. Shock is the first emotion I see, but as I look around the table, I see reddening faces and guilt in eyes that can’t meet mine.

Oliver sighs and looks at me with so much longing I gulp. And have to tighten my grip on my mates as all three tenses.
