Star’s POV

Looking around at my team, I see how tired they are, and I know we still have a way to go, rogues seem to be coming from everywhere.

I linked my people, “I need people to look after Hannah and Jasmin, they have been hit, and does anyone have eyes on Alpha Lex?”

Olly’s voice comes through the link, “I have Lex, they are shooting f*****g arrows laced with wolfsbain. He got hit in the chest, but it missed his heart. Storm is out for now, but they will be okay. Aiden and I got here as he was hit and we are taking him to Maxi,”

One of our warriors then joined the link. We have the girls, Luna, we are taking them out of here. I hear the sadness in his voice. “Thank you.”

“Okay everyone, I know we have losses, but we need to finish this, my team will take out the archers, then everyone else. Move in, I want this over.”

Ace’s voice in my head almost makes me lose it, “we are here princess, all of the rogue camps are gone.”

“Thank you Ace, can you and Ash lead the warriors? We will clear a path.”

I hold out my hands to my squad and we all link together. I call for the wind, feeling Anya join me, we rise up above the villa, and I spot the cowards on the roof, aiming at our people.

Using Earth, wind and electric elements, we blow the s**t out of the villa, making sure it implodes so our people don’t get hurt. Ace shouts through the mind-link.

“THEY HAVE CLEARED THE WAY, NOW LETS f**k THESE ASSHOLES UP.”

We have been fighting for hours, and night is setting in. “Penny, Stacy I need you to light this place up. As much as you can, lets give our guys a chance.” They nod and join hands. The rest of us use our powers and fight. They must be running out of rogues by now. Where the f**k are they coming from?

Finally, Aiden links, “we have Barton, he was trying to escape, but we have him.”

We head to the back of the villa, while our warriors finish off the rogues. Ash and Aiden, drag Barton to us, my girls make a circle around him, and the boys throw him to the floor.

Aiden looks at Jess, “time to finish it baby, you and the girls deserve this.” Then he and Ash leave the circle, I step back, this is for them.

Jess steps forward, “Barton Miller, this is going to hurt a lot.” He pulls a silver dagger from his boot and stabs himself in the heart. What the actual f**k!

Frankie jumps forward, “Oh no you don’t fucker, Luna, you had better make the a*****e s**t himself with fear and pain, cause I will be asleep after this, make sure someone stamps on his d**k for me.”

She throws out her arms and slowly waves her arms anti-clock wise, time slows down, until everything moves backwards. I watch as Barton pulls the knife from his chest and places the knife back in his boot. Jess walks backwards into the circle. Time starts to move forward again, Frankie falls to the ground, the girls gasp. Jess steps forward again and is about to speak.

I ran towards Barton and punched him in the face, grabbed his boot and tossed the knife away. With my knee on his back, I shouted for someone to check for any more weapons.

Everyone looked between me and an unconscious Frankie, “the fucker stabbed himself in the heart. Frankie reversed time so you could kill him yourselves. She said you had better make him s**t himself and that she wanted someone to stamp on his d**k.”

I tiredly got to my feet and walked out of the circle into the waiting arms of Ash. I collapse into him, and he lifts me up and carries me away.

We find Ace and he leads us to Lex. We sit on the floor beside him, Dr Phillips touches my shoulder, “Luna, Alphas. Lex will be fine, it will take a few hours for the wolfsbain to leave his system and he will need plenty of rest over the next few days.”

I lean down and k**s Lex, “thanks doc, we will tie him down if we need to.”

We sit there until the sun came up, listening to the sound of Barton’s screams. I think my girls are getting a lot out of their system. Let’s hope this will give them the closure they need.

Andrew, Dad and Cam join us, Andre strokes Lex’s hair, all three men look shell-shocked. I turned to Andrew, “Do we know how many we have lost?”

He sighs, “on top of your two girls, we have lost eighteen warriors. Blair lost another twelve, with the Leanders’ pack. I think the total is forty-six, there are still a lot of wounded, so that could rise. They are still searching the compound for survivors.”

I lean into my mates, Ash k****s my head, “angel, they all died to stop that a*****e from ruining anymore lives, they did not die in vain and they will all be remembered, it is not your fault love.”

Blair and Suzie collapse beside us, I look around, “where is Max?” Suzie grins and points to the tree line, Olly has Max pinned to the tree and they are eating each other. “Goddess, I hope they are mates.”

Ace leans in and whispered in my ear, “Olly is pretty sure they are, he has felt a pull since his birthday last month.” Blais Beta, Callum walks towards us, it looks like he is about to say something but freezes, and stares at something behind us. I turned to look, and saw a very bloody Stella running towards us.

She leaps into Callum’s arms, “I am very screwed up, but life is too short. I have a daughter called Thea. Are you okay with that?” Callum just smiles and nods his head, “good,” she crashes her mouth onto his.

The rest of my team joins us, Hayley is holding hands with Leander, and Jess is cuddling with Aiden. It looks like they have got the closure they needed.

A man I don’t recognize calls to Andrew, “We have this, you guys should go and rest, we will clean up and meet you later.”

Andrew sighs, “Thanks Alec, I think we could all do with sleep.”

I am sure I will find out who he is later, but right now, I need a shower and bed.
