The Alphas And The Orphan

Alexi’s POV

As I exit the portal, the heat of the Greek sun hits me, wrapping me in warmth. I take in my surroundings. We had portalled to a small grouping of trees next to a small cove on the northwest of the island.

I heard my name being called and looked up to see Blair walking towards us. Smiling, we embraced, “Dude, it is so good to see you. Thank you for coming.”

He chuckles, “as if I would miss this, Suzie has portaled to Paxos with Star.” he points to a group of four men, “these are my top warriors, and I suppose my best friends, Beta Callum, Ross and Grey.” I lift my hand in welcome before Blair claps me on the back. “So what’s the plan, boss?” I motioned for dad and the guys to follow me to the beach.

Once everyone is there, I pull out a map of the island, “We are here, and Bartons compound is there.” I point to the two points on the map.

“We are just here for recon, so keep your distance, our coven friends will give you all a potion to mask your scent, make sure you take it. Once we know the lay of the land, we will call for the troops and take them down, Blair, I take it you have filled your guys in on Star and her team? They are in charge, they are our ace in the hole, and we follow their lead.”

Blair and his boys nodded at me. “I want to mix our team, so that we can all keep in touch, so Olly and Ross, I want you to round the headland, you will have to climb the cliff to get a good vantage point.”

The guys high five, grab backpacks and salute as they head off. Olly turns, “we will link if we notice anything on the way, stay safe bro.”

I watched as they headed up the beach, before turning back to the map, I pointed to a beach to the north-east of the compound, “Aiden and Ross, you will come in from here, its about 2 miles from the first team, get as close as you need to, but stay out of sight.”

Aiden grins at Ross, “come on dude, you can fill me in on all of Blair’s embarrassing moments while we walk.” Ross smirks, “I think we will need a longer walk dude, there are a lot.”

I chuckle as Blair threatens Ross, and the boys head off. I send Simon and Grey up the coast to the north-west cliffs, Dad and Jasper inland to the west of the compound, leaving Blair and I to head to the east.

The witches are going to scope an extraction point, just incase s**t goes bad.

Blair and I have been jogging for about ten minutes, when Olly pushes at my link, “Alpha, there are a small group of rogues hiding in the forest about three miles from the compound. I am not sure if they are part of Bartons’ pack or not. Do you want us to take them out?”

I look at Blair, his eyes are clouded over, Ross must be giving him the same information. He blinked and looked at me, “it’s your call, Alpha. It could go either way. We could take them out and knock a few from his forces, or it could alert Barton of our presence.”

I nodded and thought for a minute, making a decision. I linked Olly, “Let Simon and Grey know their location, but leave them for now, head to the location I gave you and follow the plan. We don’t want them to get a message off and warn Barton.”

“Yes Alpha.” I closed the link and we continued walking. Blair tells me how happy he is with Suzie. She has been a little homesick, but having her parents there has helped, and the nightly facetime she has with Max and Star.

“She is happy she is going to see them both today, even if it’s not the best of circumstances.”

Sighing, I turned to him, “I can’t wait for this to be over. Barton is the last one; his brother is dead, and his son is still in custody. When this is all over I need you and Suzie to help me decide what to do with Kia.”

Clenching his jaw, he nodded, “I want to rip his c**k off and make him eat it.” I winced and cupped myself, which made him chuckle.

As we neared the compound, we found a good vantage point and sat and watched. All of the teams had checked in, all reporting about different camps of rogues. The biggest had about 40 wolves.

The compound itself was quite small, there was a fair sized villa and a couple of out buildings, no way could this place house 300 rogues.

I linked all of my men, “There he is guys, it looks like he has three dudes with him. I would guess that they are the elementals, but don’t hold me to that.”

Twenty minutes later, Aiden opens a group mind link, “Looks like they are having a pool party, and we can confirm that the fire element is here. He just lit the barbeque. And there is Barton, with two she-wolves on his arm. Boss, they have all started drinking. If we leave it a few hours, we may be able to take them with no problems.

Olly jumps in, “we count maybe 60 rogues, plus the three elementals. I couldn’t see inside the building though, but everyone seemed to be around the pool.”

Dad opened his link, “we have 6 guards patrolling this side, they seem to switch guard posts every hour.” I looked at Blair, he was also receiving mind-links from his guys.

“We have six guards on this side as well, and I agree, dad, they have changed positions twice since we have been here. There are also two guards at the gate.”

Turning to Blair, I started formulating a plan, “Okay, I think we should send a couple of our teams to work their way back through the island and mark out all the rogue camps, once we have that, we should get warriors here to take them out, while the rest of us attack the compound.”

Blair nods, “I asked my guys if there was anyway they could escape down the cliff to boats, but the only place they could do that is from the beach to the east, so aslong as we have that covered, they have nowhere to go.”

I message the witches, and before I can blink, a small portal opens beside me. I explained the plan, and the witch, who introduced herself as Trina, said that they had also scouted the island and marked on the map all the rogue camps on the island. Well, that one less task. I thanked her and she told me she would talk to the rest of her coven as soon as we had a plan.

Time to link my mate and brothers. I explain everything we have seen and the plan that I have, after we fine tune the plan and I send them a photo of the map with the locations of the rogue camps. I shut down the link, leaving them to organize who is going where.

I went through the plan with Blair and Trina, so they could relay to their teams and open a link to my guys.

“”Here’s the plan guys. Ace is sending warriors to your locations. When they get there, you have to brief them on what you know and then make your way to my position. Ace and Ash, along with Alpha Andrew, Alpha Liam and Cam will all run a team each to take out the rogue camps around the island. Luna and her elite squad will be joining us here and we will be attacking from the main gate. Two other teams will be hitting the compound from either side. Olly, I would want you and Callum to lead the team to the west and Aiden and Ross will lead the team from the east. The rest of our troops will be portal in waves, giving us back-up as we need it. Max and Suzie will be in charge of sending medical help, so if someone goes down, they are who you get hold of. leave the elementals to the Luna. If you see them let Star know and they will take them out, understand?”

“Yes Alpha.”

“Son, our replacements have arrived and we are on the way to your location.”

“Great thanks dad, has Ace given you the position of your rogue camp yet?”

“Yes, I will fill you in on who is going where when I get to you.”

It only takes him a few minutes to get to us, and after he fills us in on who will be where, we hug and he heads off to his post, to wait for the call to attack.
