Stop, Your Grace!

Chapter 46 Penalties

“I doubted it when we first met, and then I checked it before confirming your identity.”

John explained the situation in an indifferent tone to Sandy.

Sandy frowned tightly and her expression was hard to ponder.

Seeing that she did not speak, he stopped, turned to look at her and said earnestly, “Your family wanted to borrow you to replace your sister in order to deceive my family. Don’t you think this is ridiculous?”

This matter was already full of loopholes, and no one was a fool.

Besides, he was still a lawyer. Was there anything he cannot find out?

Hearing this, her face was a little pale and she defended weakly: “John, this matter…”

“Wait.” John interrupted her. “You’d better call me Mr. Green. We are still not close enough.”

He didn’t like this woman very much, although she looked very gentle and considerate.

Sandy was slightly embarrassed and reorganized her language. “This is indeed our fault, but we also had difficulties in doing so.”

“Difficulties?” he chuckled and put his hands in his pockets. He said, “I don’t care what your difficulties are. After today’s events, I hope you can make it clear to your parents that I don’t want to continue this misunderstanding.”

“What do you mean?”

Sandy looked at him puzzled.

“I mean, the woman I want to marry is Melody, not you!”

His straightforward statement did not beat around the bush at all.

“You have not known my sister. How can you be sure that she is the one you want to marry?”

The only difference between them was their name . It was the first time to meet. Sandy would like to know why he liked Melody so much.

John shrugged his shoulders and said lazily, “Of course I am sure of my own life-long events. Is it your wish to replace your sister and marry me?”

Sandy was asked.

“Well, don’t say so much with you, in a word, I hope you will speak to your parents as soon as possible to explain the situation. If your family force a change, then I can only propose dissolution of the marriage.”

At this point, he turned and stepped away.

“But my sister has been expelled from The melody family.”

Sandy looked at his back and added.

“I know! But it doesn’t affect anything. Then I won’t marry your family, but Melody, I have to marry her.”

“…”

Looking at his figure, Sandy always frowned and her face was uncertain.

Meeting John in the hotel made Melody tremble with fear.

That she did not dare to go out later, for fear of meeting Beatrix.

The lunch had a hard time getting through.

“Miss Lowe.”

Melody stood still and looked at him doubtfully. “Butler Berg, what’s the matter?”

“Yes.”

Berg nodded, took a piece of paper from his pocket and handed it to her.

Melody took it perplexed and opened it. It was a list of dishes.

“Is this?”

“The young master ordered that Miss Lowe violated the contract last night, so today he need to make corresponding punishment. The content of the punishment is in your hands.”

“So he asked me to cook 38 dishes by myself?”

Melody looked at him dumbfounded.

Berg smiled and nodded. “Yes, Miss Lowe. You must make 38 dishes before the young master comes back.”

“Can he finish all these dishes by himself?”

Melody said in a bad tone.

“Miss Lowe doesn’t have to worry about this, just do what the young master tells you.”

“…”

Melody was so angry that Kevin was a torturing genius, he used different way everyday to torture her.

She rubbed her painful temples, held the paper, gritted her teeth and said, “OK, where are the ingredients? I’ll go right away.”

As she spoke, she walked in.

Berg stopped her. “Miss Lowe.”
