Chapter 737 Let It Go
Chapter 737 Let It Go
He took Natalia's hand and said, "Lia, promise me something, okay?"
Natalia looked at him and asked, "What is it?"
Archie said, "Just let it go."
Natalia was astonished.
Archie said, "I'll help you find out the truth if you really wanna know."
Natalia couldn't help but frown.
She said, "I don't necessarily need to know. I just feel..."
She pursed her lips and Archie guided her, "Feel what?"
She said, "You know what? I often have the same dream over and over again in which I sink to the
bottom of the sea and you are with me. Archie, I'm really scared. Maybe we met nine years ago. What
do you think?"
Archie looked at her in shock.
After a long time, he forced a smile, "Lia, what makes you think that?" Exclusive content © by Nô(v)el/Dr/ama.Org.
Natalia shook her head.
"I don't know. Just a hunch."
Archie stroked her hair affectionately.
He said softly, "Don't think too much. If you really want to know what happened nine years ago, I'll send
someone to look it up for you. Don't put yourself in danger again. I'll be worried and upset, you know?"
Natalia looked deep into his eyes and felt grateful.
After a moment, she nodded.
Archie was relieved.
At the same time.
In the small building.
When the car left, Felix was standing on the second-floor balcony.
He watched as Natalia got into the car. It slowly drove out of the courtyard, and it disappeared from his
sight.
He looked in that direction for a long time.
The strange man, Elvis, came up behind him.
Looking into the distance, he grunted unhappily, "Why did you let them go? Who are those people? We
paid real money for the two women!"
Felix didn't look back at him but stood still.
He said in a low voice, "You'll get one hundred grand this afternoon. They bought them."
"What?"
Elvis was shocked.
One hundred grand!
That was a lot of money!
They bought two women for sixty grand, but he would be given one hundred grand. He earned 40
grand!
He was reluctant to let Natalia go. After all, she was so beautiful.
But that was a great deal of money!
He was shaken.
Besides, as long as he had money, he could always buy another woman as attractive as Natalia to be
his wife.
So he had nothing to lose.
He cheered up all of a sudden thinking like this.
Felix ignored him.
He turned around and walked downstairs with a grim face.
Elvis asked curiously, "Where are you going?"
Felix said, "Bed."
"What?"
"So are we going to see those people tomorrow?"
"No."
"Where are you going tomorrow?"
Elvis chased down the stairs.
Felix said from a distance, "I'm going out tomorrow. Go see them on your own if you want."
After that, he left.
Elvis stood still for a long time before he pouted unhappily.
He felt that his brother wasn't the same as before.
But it occurred to him that his brother had been working for a very rich man and he must do everything
for a good reason.
Forget it.
He just wanted to make money.
With that in mind, Elvis stopped thinking about this.
He happily dialed a number and made an appointment to meet with some people tomorrow.
Felix tossed and turned in bed all night.
He thought of Natalia as soon as he closed his eyes.
She jumped and laughed in the sun.
The sun shone on her smile and she faded into the wind.
In a trance, he remembered what she had said to him when she left a long time ago.
She said, "Felix, I hate you."
"I never want to see you again."
"We will always be enemies."
Felix finally fell asleep at dawn.
The next day was sunny.
There was an ear-splitting noise outside. He frowned slightly, lifted the covers, and got up. He opened
the door and walked out.
As soon as he went out, he saw Elvis, two men, and two women in the living room on the first floor.
Seeing him, Elvis ran over and said excitedly, "Look what I got you!"
Felix glanced at those people indifferently and whispered, "What are you doing?"
Elvis laughed, "You always wanted a wife, didn't you? Those two women are gone, so I got you two
new ones. They're not as pretty as them, but they're cheap!"
He drew Felix aside as if to tell him some secret.
Then he lowered his voice and said excitedly, "Two women! Only 50,000 dollars! They're both virgins.
We're so lucky."
Felix narrowed his eyes.
He stared at Elvis seriously.
But perhaps because he was on cloud nine, Elvis didn't notice Felix's unusual behavior.
He was still telling Felix in excitement how cheap they were and which woman he preferred.
To be honest, Felix wasn't a nice guy.
But he had been in this place for several days and was sick of this kind of dirty trade.
Before Elvis could finish, he interrupted him, "I'm not interested!"
Elvis froze.
Felix glanced back at the two shivering girls and said, "Do whatever you want, but leave me alone."
After that, he left.
Elvis stood where he was and watched Felix’s back, completely stunned.
He didn't know what to do.
He could do whatever he wanted in the town all these years, but he knew it was only because he had a
powerful brother.
The town wasn't big, but because of the threat of war for many years, everyone in the town was
shrewd.
They were orphans and poor, so they were often bullied as children.
Every time Elvis was beaten, his brother would stand up for him.
They didn't necessarily win every time.
But they didn't let the bullies win easily.
They were at a similar level.
Over time, everyone knew one thing.
The boys were dangerous, especially the elder one.
