Chapter 1166 Drug Scandal
"What's wrong?" Theodore asked.
Little Bunny didn't say anything, or more accurately, she didn't even hear him. Her mind was completely
consumed with Addison and she couldn't believe he would do something like this. If he did do it, then
someone must have set him up. With Addison being so popular right now, some people might be
jealous and try to smear his name by any means necessary.
"Little Bunny!" Theodore suppressed his anger but still raised his voice a bit.
She snapped out of her thoughts and turned to look at him.
"What happened?" Theodore was getting impatient and on the verge of exploding. What could have
happened that made her so helpless?
She looked at Theodore and suddenly thought that he could help Addison get out of trouble safely. But
as soon as the thought came to her mind, she was shocked by it because there was no way that
Theodore would help Addison. If anything bad happened to him, Theodore might even think it was well-
deserved punishment for him.
The words were about to come out of Little Bunny's mouth but she swallowed them back down again
before saying, "Nothing. My agent just told me to prepare for work tomorrow."
"Are you sure that's all she said?" The doubt in Theodore's eyes was obvious.
"Yeah," Little Bunny replied without elaborating further before turning her head towards the window
outside without any intention of speaking anymore. Her mood was very upset right now. All she could
think about was what would happen to Addison next instead of doing anything else productive.
Theodore felt her indifferent attitude toward him and held back his temper after a momentary pause. He
had said before that he didn't want to go back home because as they returned home, she would
change into someone different from who she used to be when they were on the island together. She
was not exactly cold-hearted like this though. He lowered his head looking at his phone screen, where This belongs to NôvelDrama.Org: ©.
news app notifications popped up one after another, regarding Addison's incident. Now, he realized
why Little Bunny acted like this. It turned out something bad had happened with Addison. She became
so panicky over something related to Addison.
Theodore trembled while holding onto the phone tightly in hand but took a deep breath telling himself
repeatedly to calm down. He must remain calm.
"Addison got into trouble?" asked he. His voice sounded very calm despite everything going on inside
him.
Little Bunny hesitated for a while before turning around and answering, "Um."
"Drug use?" There seemed some sarcasm behind his tone when asking such a question.
"That's not something he would do." Little Bunny blurted out. After saying it, she tried to explain, "I've
never seen him do drugs before."
Theodore sneered.
Little Bunny didn't bother explaining further.
"I'm a little tired. I'll sleep for a while."Said she.
It was obvious she didn't want to talk to Theodore. Theodore's face darkened, but he kept his anger to
himself.
How could Little Bunny care so much about Addison? If he got into trouble, she wouldn't even bat an
eye and might even celebrate with champagne.
The car ride was silent until they arrived at Theodore's upscale residence. They entered one after the
other. Little Bunny went straight to her room and said she had work tomorrow and needed rest today
before closing the door behind her.
Theodore looked at the closed door to her room, seething with anger. He knew she was just unwilling
to ask him for help. Though furious, Theodore made a phone call, "Find out more about Addison's drug
use and what kind of punishment he'll get in the end."
"Yes, Captain."
Theodore hung up, feeling like an idiot. He should have just watched Addison crash and burn.
In her room, Little Bunny lay in bed, unable to sleep as thoughts of Addison filled her mind. If this drug
scandal stuck with him, it would ruin his career when he was at his peak. It wasn't just because of how
she felt about him. Anyone in his shoes deserved better treatment than this.
Suddenly her phone rang. It was Addison's agent calling.
Because of the new TV series and movie including her and Addison, Little Bunny met Addison's agent
quite a lot recently, so they exchanged their phone numbers.
"Hello?" She answered.
"Miss Little Bunny? This is Yuna Kim from Addison's agency."
"I know who you are, Miss Kim."
"I think you probably know by now that Addison has been arrested for drug use."
"Yes, I heard it on the news just now."
"Addison wouldn't do something like this, he was set up," said Yuna, sounding frustrated. As a
prominent agent in the industry, she seemed exhausted. "He hasn't been feeling great lately and has
been going to bars with friends to drink occasionally. While he was drunk, someone injected him with
drugs and the police arrived shortly after. They found that he tested positive for drugs but it's all a
misunderstanding!"
"Do you know who did this?" Little Bunny asked.
"We have no idea. The police don't believe us and say we're making excuses. The bar's surveillance
footage is also broken so I'm at my wits' end here! You know if Addison is caught using drugs, not only
will his career be over but his life will be ruined too! He's such a hardworking guy. It's unfair that
someone would frame him like this." Yuna choked up as she spoke.
"I came to you today not just to tell you about Addison but also because I need your help," Yuna said
after calming down.
"I don't know how I can help you though. Even if I come forward and say that I believe Addison didn't
use drugs, there's still concrete evidence against him which makes me look bad too as his agent." Little
Bunny replied helplessly.
"I've thought of that already. What I mean is can you ask Mr Wold for some assistance?" Yuna asked
directly.
Little Bunny fell silent as she couldn't promise anything.
"I know about your situation with Addison too," continued Yuna softly. "Addison told me everything.
Under immense pressure from the company he still confessed his feelings towards you in hopes of
giving you a status. It was difficult for him to convince the company but they finally agreed on letting
him date you. But then suddenly things ended between both of you. If not for the breakup causing so
much pain on his part then maybe none of this would have happened."
Hearing what Yuna had said made Little Bunny feel guilty. She could imagine just how painful and
difficult things must have been for Addison before.
