Reborn Before The Divorce

Chapter 250

Not long after, Nydia returned, carrying a plate of cheese sandwiches.

She had made two sandwiches, cut into four pieces.

The bread was hollowed out in the middle, with an egg cracked inside, then topped with a slice of cheese and bacon. It was a simple but delicious sandwich.

“Try it, it should taste good,” Nydia said.

During the time Nydia was away, Jesse had calmed down and organized his design sketches. He took a bite of the sandwich, and the soft bread, egg, cheese, and bacon flavors mixed together, creating a rich and savory taste.

Sometimes he wondered why the same sandwich could taste so much better when Nydia made it.

“What about your birthday party?” Jesse asked.

“Willette is taking care of it. She told me not to worry, so I didn’t,” Nydia replied.

Jesse thought he should still find someone to gather information for him.

“You finished organizing already? Thank you!” Nydia finished her sandwich, stretched lazily, and her voice sounded like a little hook, instantly catching Jesse’s attention.

But she quickly sent Jesse away.

“I need to sleep, or I’ll be late tomorrow and have to pay a fine.”

Jesse felt like a cat’s paw for the first time.

Nydia pushed him out of her room, then pushed him into his own room, saying goodnight before closing the door.

The breakfast at the Pascall Villa had set hours, based on when the children went to school. However, the two chefs and the maid all received a message from Jesse, so breakfast was served half an hour earlier than usual. All text © NôvelD(r)a'ma.Org.

When Nydia got up in the morning, she found breakfast already on the table.

“Why so early today?” she asked Jeff.

“Boss ordered breakfast to start early today,” Julia replied.

Without thinking too much, Nydia sat down to quickly eat breakfast.

After a while, Jesse came out and sat down opposite her to eat.

“Do you have something to do today that’s why breakfast is early?” Nydia asked.

“Yes.”

“I’m finished, I have to go,” Nydia drank half a glass of milk, ate a slice of toast, and half a sausage before getting ready to leave.

“Molly ate more than you,” Jesse frowned.

Molly, who was forcibly woken up, was still drowsy and walked over when she heard someone calling her.

“I’m in a hurry, I have to go,” Nydia said.

“I’ll reimburse you for any fines for being late,” Jesse said.

Nydia was stunned at first, but then she felt happy that Jesse was willing to reimburse her. She sat down again and ate another bread and egg.

She glanced at the fried potatoes and felt like having some, but she thought she wouldn’t be able to finish it. She decided to eat it tomorrow instead. As she was about to leave, she heard Jesse’s voice, “I can’t finish it, take half.”

He split the fried potatoes in half and gave one half to her.

“Okay!” Nydia happily finished the fried potatoes and left.

Tavish looked at Jesse’s lifted corners of his mouth and felt like his parents weren’t going to divorce after all.

In that case, he and his sister can always be together, and there won’t be a new mommy.

“Your mommy’s birthday is in a few days, think about what gift you want to give her,” Jesse said to the two children.

“Didn’t mommy already have a birthday?” Molly asked in surprise.

“That was her lunar birthday before, her solar birthday is after.”

Since Nydia’s parents had an accident, she chose to celebrate her solar birthday instead, mainly because the Malones celebrated it for her too, and she was too lazy to correct them. Over the years, she had become accustomed to it.

Every time her birthday came, the Malones would go all out, as if they were telling everyone how good they were to Nydia.

“How many days to go?”

“One more week.”
