Pursuing My Ex Wife in Full Blooming Spring

Chapter 215

Chapter 215

Everyone was raring to go. They took umbrellas and left.

Due to her still-recovering leg, it was not convenient for Naomi to be in the rain, so she stayed in the restaurant.

The restaurant was in a good location. She could see the entire town from where she was. The rain subsided quite a bit, and the skies had cleared as well. She could clearly see the tiny raindrops.

The historical buildings of the town seem to come to life as well.

Naomi looked around, enjoying the history of the place. The nature around her was so beautiful that it was indescribable. This was the most touching thing about it to her. She liked things that needed to be felt with one's heart.

Just like life itself, everything needed to be experienced.

Scott stood behind Naomi with his hands on the wheelchair's handles. He looked out at the blue skies and the rain before looking at her.

She wanted to go with the others but could not, so she stayed back and appreciated the scenery.

"Mr. Lawson, here you go." The chauffeur came over to Scott with an umbrella.

"Mh."

Scott bent down and picked Naomi up, much to her confusion.

Naomi looked up at him and noted nothing unusual in his expression. Still, what was he thinking? She did not know what he wanted to do.

She felt the need to ask, nonetheless. "Where are we going?"

Previously, she told everyone that she would be waiting for everyone at the restaurant. Dylan was taking everyone on a stroll in the town. If they were not there when Dylan returned, it would be difficult for them to meet up.

"Let's go for a walk."

Naomi was stunned.

A walk? What did he mean? She looked at him in surprise, but Scott said nothing. He carried her downstairs. NôvelDrama.Org holds © this.

The chauffeur folded the wheelchair and followed them.

The wheelchair was unfolded downstairs, and Scott placed Naomi in the wheelchair. Then, he took the chauffeur's umbrella.

At that moment, Naomi realized what Scott was trying to do. He was going to take her out.

Naomi looked at Scott holding the large transparent umbrella. It covered her well.

He pushed her along with one hand and held the umbrella more toward her side. The umbrella was soon covered in droplets of water, and some dripped on his back.

The umbrella was huge, but it could not cover both of them, especially when he needed to shade the entire wheelchair, so one of them would surely be wet.

Naomi looked at the umbrella and then at Scott. "Let's head back."

He would get wet at this rate. He would catch a cold.

This was what she thought, but it might not happen.

She could also come to Herland again whenever she wanted to in the future.

Scott was pushing her along looking ahead when he heard her soft-spoken voice. It was just as gentle as the rain. "Look ahead."

Naomi pursed her lips at how he chose to ignore her suggestion.

He always took good care of his body. During their marriage, he almost never fell ill.

He was not a three-year-old child, and he knew better. At that moment, however, he did not care about himself getting drenched.

She did not understand why he did that. It was unnecessary.

She thought for a while before saying, "You'll get sick like this."

Scott stopped in his tracks.
