Pursuing My Ex Wife in Full Blooming Spring

Chapter 183

Chapter 183

Tell him something? What was there to tell?

Olivia's words stunned him. However, before he could even verbalize his query, Olivia continued, "Scott is seeing someone else." NôvelDrama.Org (C) content.

"Um…" Dylan was utterly stunned to hear this.

Olivia turned to stare at him with a sharp look. "And she looks almost exactly like me."

Meanwhile, Naomi arrived at one of the most famous historical monuments in Herland—the Oriental Palace.

The Oriental Palace was renowned for being the site of the discovery of many ancient relics.

The driver wheeled Naomi out of the car and followed the crowd into the monument. She managed to get her hands on a pamphlet and flipped through it while listening to Chandler's explanations. Everyone was so engrossed in learning about the history of the place that no one noticed Scott coming in after them, except the driver. When he saw Scott coming, he moved out of the way so that Scott could take his place behind Naomi's wheelchair. He watched as Naomi read through the pamphlet intently, utterly oblivious that the person wheeling her changed hands. She was engrossed in the tour and kept looking around at the historical monuments around her.

She was so absorbed in her work that she forgot all about what happened just now. Scott stared at her for a long time, then when the tour moved, he wheeled her closely behind.

The afternoon passed by in the blink of an eye. That night, everyone went out for dinner together and spent the rest of the night discussing the exhibition. Finally, they returned to the hotel around 9 p.m.

Naomi thought Scott would leave after dropping her off at the hotel, but she was wrong. Instead, he stayed back to look after her.

Naomi could not help wondering what the meaning of this was—could it be possible that he and Olivia were not together at all?

However, she soon dispelled her own suspicions. Of course he and Olivia were together—if not, the past three years would have been for naught!

Perhaps Scott already told Olivia that he would be staying to look after Naomi. In that case, Naomi could not help but marvel at how much Olivia trusted him.

Or perhaps he did not tell her the truth at all.

Naomi did not want to overthink this. All she wanted to focus her energy on was the immense haul of information she gathered from the site visit that afternoon. She wanted to get to work.

She was planning to organize her notes before bed.

Scott watched as she opened her work bag and took out her notebook. She did not give him so much as a second glance and did not seem at all bothered by his presence. She was preoccupied with her stuff and would not expend an ounce of energy on things that did not concern her.

Scott got up, poured her a glass of water, and set it down next to her.

Naomi thanked him, then took a sip of water and continued working.

Scott did not disturb her and instead ducked into the walk-in closet to do his own work.

The room was silent as the night slipped by.

Meanwhile, in a bar named Drunken Kitten, Olivia downed one glass after the other like there was no tomorrow. She drank for long enough that she would have been drunk by now, but on the contrary, the more she drank the more sober she seemed to become.

Dylan sat next to her, watching her instead of trying to stop her. He knew she needed this.
