Pursuing My Ex Wife in Full Blooming Spring

Chapter 163

Chapter 163

Naomi had never seen Scott do anything like this before as he did not need to do that at home. Frankly, only she had been doing this.

Naomi looked at the hot water speechlessly.

Scott placed the water down and headed to the bathroom. Soon, the sound of water sloshing about came from the bathroom.

Naomi was stunned.

Was he…not going to leave?

It was late at night. The entire city of Herland had gone to bed, waiting for the new day to arrive.

Scott had taken a shower. He came out in a robe, but unlike Naomi, his robe was loosely hanging on his body, his chest exposed. Naomi could even vaguely see his abs. There were droplets of water glistening on his body…

She looked away as her heart rate quickened. Her face burned in embarrassment.

"Y—You… You…" Naomi wanted Scott to leave, but she was at a loss for words.

Scott looked at her blushing. He sat on the couch and lay down.

The couch in Naomi's room was a double-seater, unlike the one in Scott's room which was only a single-seater.

Still, the double-seater couch was awfully small for Scott, but it was better than a single-seater.

Scott placed his arms behind his head and closed his eyes.

Naomi looked over at him lying on the sofa with only a robe covering him.

The robe was quite big for her, but it seemed small on him, especially when he lay down. As he placed his arms behind his head, most of his chest was exposed.

Naomi blushed even more. She quickly looked away and said, "Go back to your room and sleep. I’m fine here. You'll catch a cold like this."

No response from Scott.

The room was quiet.

Naomi's eyebrows furrowed as she pursed her lips. She waited for a while before saying once more, "Scott?" Please check at N/ôvel(D)rama.Org.

Still no response. He seemed to have fallen asleep.

Naomi's brow wrinkled in confusion. She turned to look at him. What she saw made her stiffen.

His eyes were open. In fact, he was looking at her intently.

Naomi's heart skipped a beat before thumping hard. She instinctively looked away. She then thought of something and looked back at him. "G—Go back to your room and sleep."

His eyes seem to have the ability to devour someone. It was like a black hole, swallowing everything and everyone around him, including her.

Naomi's chest constricted. Her heart was pounding wildly. She did not dare to look at him.

She should have been afraid and cowered, but she did not, strangely enough. She even knew what she wanted to say. She was determined to do so.

Scott looked at Naomi's evasive yet determined gaze. There was also concern in them. After a long time, he looked away and closed his eyes.

Naomi was baffled. What the hell did he mean by that? Was he ignoring her?

He was going to catch a cold in just a robe. She did not want him to fall sick because he was caring for her. At that thought, she looked at the covers on her before looking at the closet. Then, she flipped her covers aside and got down from the bed.

"Don't move," he interrupted her in a low voice.

Naomi stopped and looked at him. His eyes were still shut. It was as if it was not him that said that.

Naomi furrowed her brows. "But…"

"If you move any more, I'll sleep next to you."
