THIRSTY
The peters all had a hereditary of common cold and pneumonia that has been passed on for generations to generations.
That was one of the things that led to Addison’s cancer of the blood leukemia, and when Addison was younger, she had quite a lot of dealings with pneumonia.
But Adia has never really had a serious cold as she was hardly affected by it, but now she’s never felt this much cold before.
“Are you alright?” Sebastian enquired as his watchful eyed observed her.
“Yea, I am fine, just a little cold” Adia muttered softly as she ran her hands through her body, she was wearing just a t-shirt so it wasn’t helping matters at all.
The fact all the car windows were locked was not even helping, in the past, she has been able to withstand the common cold but now it’s hitting her badly.
She huddled up her self for warmth but it was not even effective at all.
“You’re clearly not okay” Sebastian commented as leaned closer to check her temperature but Adia reacted by moving backwards the car window.
“I don’t bite and I have seen it all before” he shamelessly said placing his palms on her fever, Adia who was shivering had no time for his nasty comment.
“You’re having a cold, here have my jacket” he pulled off his jacket as he handed it over to her, thankfully it was a thick jacket so it would do a lot of good.
“What about you’ll get cold” Adia murmured as he smacked his lips frustratingly.
“Shut up and think about yourself for once” he advised throwing the jacket at her, they were currently in a deserted place, and Adia was already looking so pale as if she would die soon.
“Thanks” Adia muttered putting on the jacket slowly as his enriched scent wafted through her nostrils, he smelt so good.
The jacket worked little or no wonder as she was already shattering her teeth.
“Very well, that’s not working” Sebastian exclaimed as he thought of another alternate, they were currently in the middle of nowhere stuck in the rain.
A idea immediately struck him, he pulled off his shoes followed by his socks while Adia watched in amusement.
“What are you doing?” Adia asked in bewilderment.
“Helping you silly” he replied grabbing her two legs without giving Adia room for protest.
He pulled off the flats she was putting on and replaced them with his thick socks before helping her back with the shoes.
“Thanks” she murmured shyly the angle that they were both in now was a little embarrassing.
She brought her legs back down before Sebastian took her hands.
“What are you doing?” She stuttered immediately his walm hands touched hers.
“Keeping you warm, you’re pregnant” came his curt reply as he rubbed her palms together.
“Do you usually catch a cold this serious?” Sebastian asked
“No, it runs in my family but I’ve never been this cold, in my life, it’s kinda unusual” Adia explained while Sebastian noted everything down, planning to ask Evans, if it has anything to do with her pregnancy.
“I see” Sebastian looked outside the window and noticed the rain was already coming down, ‘just a few minutes more’ he thought as he continued keeping her warm.
Adia inhaled sharply, shifting uncomfortably from time to time, she watched Sebastian with interest as he look engrossed in keeping warm.
‘so cute’ Adia admired stealing glances at him.
About five minutes later, Sebastian started feeling uncomfortable as he felt his throat itch, HE WAS FUCKING HUNGRY.
He rushed to the hospital to the hospital earlier and didn’t have the chance to feed.
He never planned for this anyway, all he planned was to drop Adia off and grab a human on his way back, now’s he’s stuck with Adia, thirsty, and no hope of feed anytime soon.
“Are you okay?” Adia asked concern as she felt uneasiness from him.Content © NôvelDrama.Org 2024.
“Am fine just thirsty” he forced a smile grabbing a bottle of water, gulping the contents down.
If it was any other person, he would have already sank his fangs in their throat, but this was Adia, he had promised not to compel or hurt her, he even warned the others against compelling her, so he can’t go against his rules not now.
His throat itches badly as he tried keeping his cool.
“Are you sure you are fine?” Adia asked again because she felt his hands getting cold and he’s kind off looking pale.
“Yea am good” Sebastian replied retracting his hands from hers, knowing his technique wasn’t working as he was getting cold himself.
“Look, I’ll be back, make sure you don’t leave this place” he warned dashing into the darkness before Adia could even protest.
The rain was already over, but everywhere still felt chilly. Adia used Sebastian’s jacket to wrap herself more since it was kind of too big for her, while she waited patiently for him, inhaling his sweet smell.

Sebastian roamed the woods looking for an animal to feed on at least to sustain himself a little, but there was a little hope as it just finished raining and most of the animals would probably be into hiding.
Hope shone on him, when he saw headlights coming from the other side if the road, he leaped to the lonely road as he waited for the incoming vehicle.
“Hey, asshole get out from my way” the slightly drunk yelled as his vehicle stopped in front of Sebastian, who didn’t move a inch.
“Get out of the way ass” the drunk staggered out of his vehicle as he approached Sebastian angrily.
“Shut up” Sebastian said dryly as he held the man’s neck tightly, this drunk is gonna drive home but first he needs to feed.
“Let’s me go” the drunk driver struggled but Sebastian held him more tight starling the drunk by the amount of strength he possessed.
“Now don’t scream or move, you’re having a nice time, and you’ll meet a good friend soon, who you’ll drive home” Sebastian compelled before sinking his fangs on the drunk man’s neck, making sure not to kill him.
“Now what’s your name?” He asked retracting his fangs whilst he wiped the blood off his lips.
“Bill” the man answered obediently like a puppet.
“Now bill you’re just a good Samaritan who happened to meet a stranded friend who you decided to help and drive home, hmm” Sebastian smiled mischievously patting the man’s back slowly.
“Let’s go someone’s cold” he slipped into the car as Bill got into the driver’s seat as he drove off.
