Never Blinded by Love (Linda and Wilson)

Linda had a lot on her plate, and she said, "I'll leave Lex to you, then,"

"Rest assured, I'll take good care of her," James assured her.

With James taking care of Lexi under Simon's and Celine's watchful eyes, Linda and Samson shifted into work mode.

The end of the year was approaching rapidly, and with the New Year drawing nearer, Linda's film was entering its final stages. To achieve the desired effect, Linda decided to start a roadshow in Osmo. She didn't plan to show up. Instead, the producer and the agent, Lina, along with the actors, would handle the roadshow. She would only make an appearance a week before the film's release.

"Ms. Felix, should we announce the roadshow plan now or wait until closer to the start?" asked the social media manager.

Linda, who wasn't very familiar with online trends and how to leverage them, asked, "When do you think is appropriate?"

The manager replied, "Based on the current situation, the sooner the better. The competition during the -New Year is fierce, and we need to prepare in advance.Text property © Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org.

Linda was aware of this. Besides her own film, there were three other films invested by YK Media in the New Year slot, plus a big director's epic masterpiece that had taken five years to make.

If Linda didn't prepare in advance, she wouldn't be able to achieve the desired results.

"Handle this for me. If you have any problems, contact Wendy first. She'll help you sort things out."

The manager nodded. "Don't worry. I managed the online promotion for the last film as well."

Linda's team consisted of experienced employees who had been in the industry but were overlooked for various reasons. She accepted her own mediocrity but couldn't stand seeing genuinely talented individuals go unrecognized.

She offered them opportunities in the hope of collaborating.

They took a gamble, and fortunately, they all won,

After spending some time at her company to finalize the roadshow plans, Linda returned to YK Media to discuss it with Lina.

Lina, who was sporting heavy dark circles and yawning, came into the office:

"What's going on?" Linda teased, "Were you out robbing people last night?"

Lina sat down. "Yes. I was out robbing people last night to get funds for our film's promotion."

"I'm really touched, Linda said, pretending to wipe her eyes with her sleeve.

Lina's lips twitched. "You should go into acting. You're quite the performer."

"If I v

were an actress, what would happen to all those professionally trained actors?" Linda countered as she pulled out the preliminary schedule from her bag.

Lina flipped through the schedule, commenting, "If you became an actress, those professional actors might have a hard time."

"What do you mean?"

"Ms. Felix, hasn't anyone told you that your acting skills are terrible?" Lina said, then added, "You're only suited to be a director. Acting isn't for you."

Linda wasn't offended. "I'll make my appearance in the final week. How do you feel about that?"

As a professional agent, Lina understood the entertainment industry better than Linda, who was only dabbling in the field.

"Actually, it's more about what you think than what I think," Lina rationalized. "Currently, you have a huge influence. The later you appear, the more you can drive up interest.

"To the moviegoers, you're like the final surprise."

Linda's fame abroad was substantial, and many fans in the country were curious about what the genius director looked like. So far, she had only revealed her gender, leaving many eager to see her face.
