Chapter 1085
Chapter 1085
Sienna scoffed, “I showed him my new hairstyle, and he sent me a picture of Buddha, saying my hair looked like his. What a tasteless guy!”
Celeste was speechless.
She suddenly remembered one year during the holiday season, she got a perm and excitedly showed it to Liam.
Liam asked, “Is this hairstyle still popular after 300 years?”
She replied, “What 300 years? This has been popular in recent years, okay?”
Liam compared a picture of Newton with her hairstyle and concluded they were “exactly the same.”
Celeste was so angry she straightened her hair the next day
Saying Grandma’s curls looked like Buddha was definitely Liam’s style.
Celeste thought momentarily, “I’ll have Liam take some and send them to me, then I’ll send them to you.”
Sienna said, “Tell him to take some close–ups; don’t try to fool me.”
Celeste agreed, then ran downstairs, lured Bubble out with food, and took a bunch of photos.
In order for these photos to look like they came from Liam, she deliberately waited a while before sending them to Sienna.
Back at the old house, when her phone rang, Sienna was eating grapes in a rattan chair. She had Robinson hand her the phone
The photos were all close–ups of the carp in the water.
Sienna put on her reading glasses and said to Robinson, “Robinson, zoom in on the photos.”
As Robinson zoomed in, Sienna finally spotted a complete reflection in the shimmering water. It was Celeste squatting by the pond taking pictures with her phone.
“This cheeky girl, trying to pull a fast one on me?”
Sienna took off her glasses and threw them aside. “Owen came to get the fish and said Liam thought the yard was empty and wanted a pet. He’s so afraid of water How could he keep the fish? Nonsense!” Please check at N/ôvel(D)rama.Org.
“He’s with the girl and is still hiding it from me!”
Robinson said, “Maybe it’s because of Celeste’s special status right now; they don’t want to make their relationship public.”
“Stupid!” Sienna scoffed. “If he doesn’t give Celeste a title now, she might look down on him when she becomes an international superstar.”
Robinson was speechless.
Still, Sienna was happy. She asked Robinson. “Do you think they’re living together? Do they sleep together?”
Robinson was speechless.
“It’s hard to say, Liam is a rule–abiding kid; he probably wouldn’t do anything to upset Celeste.”
Sienna said, “If he’s still abiding by the rules now, then he’s a fool!”
Robinson was speechless.
As Sienna was pondering how to help her grandson, Kaylee Reed’s voice rang out from behind, “Grandma.”
Sienna turned around and waved her over, “Awake already.”
Kaylee gave a nod and sauntered over to sit beside her on the chair.
She appeared thinner than before, her once plump cheeks now slender, making her look more like Skyler Reed
Kaylee was pulling at the grass growing out from the cracks by her feet. After a while, she said, “Grandma, I want to work at the company.”
Sienna asked, “What job do you have in mind?”
Kaylee mulled it over, then replied, “I’ll go wherever you point me.”
Sienna suggested, “How about starting from scratch, just like your brother?”
Kaylee nodded, “Sure.”
Sienna gave her a surprised glance. Since Kaylee got out of the slammer, she seemed to have mellowed out a bit, even matured. It starkly contrasted her old self, who would have turned up her nose at any low–level job.
After all that, Sienna can tell she’s really grown up.
