My Rich Hot and Infertile or Maybe Not Husband

Chapter 1058

Chapter 1058

This whole dispute started when Mannie found a yellow hair clip in her boyfriend Oliver’s house. Oliver tried to explain that he got the hair clip as change when he was buying cigarettes, but Nannie wasn’t buying it.

The hair clip was trendy at the time and not cheap either. It was selling like hotcakes, so there was no way a vendor would use it as change, let alone give it to a guy. So she started keeping an eye on any female classmates who liked to wear hair clips.

Turned out, Kathie, a classmate, had a yellow hair clip just like the one she found. And it went missing a week ago.

Nannie was a proud girl. She didn’t have deep feelings for Oliver, but she hated the idea of someone else having her stuff, especially Kathie who was better than her at dancing

One day after class, she confronted Kathie about it. Kathie denied it. They started arguing, and in the scuffle, Kathie fell down the stairs, hitting her arm on some glass which shattered and cut her. Contentt bel0ngs to N0ve/lDrâ/ma.O(r)g!

Kathie was sent to the hospital, and Nannie got a warning from the school. She lost the chance of being an exchange student, and of course, got an earful from her parents

And that just deepened the feud between her and Kathie. So when Kathie was poisoned, all fingers pointed at her

Today’s shoot was the showdown in the stairwell.

The lines were easy enough, but the tricky part was getting Sydney to roll down the stairs on camera. This required both of them to cooperate She had to act out pushing her, and Sydney had to control her fall down the stairs, bursting a blood bag on her arm at the same time.

This required a lot of physical control from the actors. Normally, the crew would only ask the actors to do the close–ups, and a stunt double would do the long shots of falling down the stairs.

For someone like Sydney, who had to use eye drops to cry on cue, she would surely use a stunt double wherever she could.

But this time, she was mistaken. When the director was explaining the scene and telling Sydney which shots she would have to do herself and which ones the stunt double would do, Sydney said, “Mr. Javier, I won’t be needing a stunt double for this scene.

Celeste was surprised.

Javier was even more surprised. An actor doing their own stunts was a good thing, but this action was a bit dangerous. Considering Sydney’s status, Javier advised, “The rolling action is tricky. It looks simple, but it’s easy to roll out of frame. You have no experience, and won’t pass in one or two tries, better let the stunt double do it.”

Sydney said, “Mr. Javier, a movie on the big screen, it’s going to be pretty obvious if it’s a stunt double. This is my first movie, and I don’t want to be criticized. If I can’t pass in one try, then two. If not two, then three. I’ll get it eventually. Stunt doubles aren’t born knowing how to do it either. They learned through countless times of falling. If they can do it, so can I. I want to show the audience my best.”
