My Rich Hot and Infertile or Maybe Not Husband

Chapter 1056

Chapter 1056

Shanna said, “Even if you’re not hungry, you should eat something. You stay up late every day, it’s not good for your health.”

Mason nodded and gently said, “I know mom, I’ll drink it in a bit.”

Shanna insisted, “Drink it now, I won’t leave until you do.”

Mason had no choice but to pick up the tea and start drinking

Seeing her son being obedient, Shanna showed a satisfied smile. She sat on the edge of the bed and started folding Mason’s clothes. All content © N/.ôvel/Dr/ama.Org.

As she folded the clothes, she asked, “Mason, do you have a girlfriend?”

Mason didn’t stop what he was doing and casually asked, “Where did you hear that from?”

“A few friends told me. They saw you bringing a girl to Lyman’s wedding. They asked me if she was your girlfriend” Shanna said.

Mason chuckled, a hint of bitterness in his eyes, “They really care about my personal affairs, don’t they?”

Shanna explained, “I asked them to keep an eye out for nice girls for you. Everyone is concerned, afraid you might miss a good opportunity”

She paused, then asked, “What does the girl you brought do for a living? How old is she? Do you have a picture?”

Instead of answering these questions, Mason asked, “If I like her, would you approve of us dating, regardless of her background?”

Shanna hesitated, then cautiously said, “We still need to meet each other’s parents, and have families help us take a look. After all, it involves

both families.”

Mason suddenly laughed, a laugh that made Shanna uneasy. She asked softly, “What’s wrong?”

Mason put down the empty cup, shook his head and said, “It’s nothing, it’s too early to be discussing this. I’m still getting to know her”

Shanna swallowed back what she wanted to say. She picked up the folded clothes, walked to the wardrobe, opened it and neatly placed the

clothes inside.

As she closed the wardrobe, she suddenly noticed the scratch marks on the inner wall. Her heart skipped a beat and she quickly checked Mason’s hands

Seeing that Mason’s hands were unharmed, she slowly calmed down. She seemed to want to say something, but in the end, she didn’t. She just took a piece of clothing to cover the scratch marks and hurriedly closed the wardrobe.

“Get some rest early, don’t stay up too late.” Shanna picked up the empty cup and said softly. “Your health is the most important thing. You can put off work if necessary. If you really like that girl, then go get her. I will support you.”

Mason smiled, “Thanks, mom.”

Shanna didn’t say anything else. She gently closed the door for him and then quietly left

Mason shot a glance at the wardrobe and then rose to head for the bathroom. Before long, the sound of heaving echoed from the bathroom.

Liam, the guy who never knew when to quit, kept Celeste up and playing till the wee hours. When exactly Celeste crashed, she couldn’t tell.

First thing the next morning, her phone started ringing off the hook.

Celeste was dead tired. She gave Liam a kick, and mumbled, “Answer it.”

Liam closed his eyes, groped around the bedside table. He quickly found the phone, answering without even looking at it, “Hello?”

There was silence on the other side

Liam frowned, “Who is it?”

After a three–second silence, Steven’s voice came through gritted teeth, “Why the hell is Celeste’s phone with you? Where is she?”

Liam was stunned.
