My Quick-witted Baby (Arabella and Kenneth)

Chapter 492

Chapter 492

Now it seemed that the person on the other end of the phone was quite interesting.

Kenneth's thin lips curved slightly, and he turned and left with Rylie.

In the corridor, Amare Holloway and Patrick Archer had been waiting for their Mr. Lucero, Kenneth.

When they saw him coming out, the two of them quickly followed respectfully.

Amare nudged the expressionless Patrick, "I think I saw Mr. Lucero smile."

Patrick remained expressionless. "Oh."

Amare excitedly said, "Mr. Lucero smiled! Since returning to Faykarta, I haven't seen Mr. Lucero smile!"

Patrick still had no expression. "Oh."

Amare was speechless. He couldn't chat anymore. There was no one to gossip with.

After thinking for a moment, Amare wondered if Mr. Lucero smiled because of the Snyder family's

recently found daughter.

"Mr. Lucero, there is an engagement between the Bender family and the Snyder family. The Snyder

family had a daughter who went missing in childhood and was just found. This daughter is Ernesto's

fiancée," Amare whispered.

There was no emotional fluctuation on Kenneth's handsome face. He glanced at Amare indifferently.

"Did I ask you about these?" Exclusive © content by N(ô)ve/l/Drama.Org.

"No," Amare shook his head, "but if you like, I can have Patrick infiltrate the Snyder family at night,

bring the Snyder family's daughter over, clean her up, and place her in your bed to serve you tonight."

Everyone in the Snyder family had extraordinary martial arts skills, and even a servant knew martial

arts. But that didn't pose a challenge for Patrick. Although he had an expressionless face, his skills

were extraordinary.

Amare glanced at Patrick, and Patrick nodded. He spoke sparingly, "Alright."

Kenneth's narrowed eyes swept over like a hawk, and he uttered two words from his thin lips, "Get

lost!"

Patrick's figure disappeared in an instant.

Amare stood frozen in place. This was too unfair. He didn't know martial arts, so how could he "get

lost"?

...

In the Lucero's mansion.

Kenneth returned to the Lucero family. He stood tall and long-legged in the living room, his slender

fingers unbuttoning the black suit and handing it to the maid. "Where is Mrs. Sharon?"

"Mrs. Sharon is in her room upstairs, Mr. Lucero," the maid respectfully replied.

"How is Mrs. Sharon's appetite today?"

"Mrs. Sharon only had a small bowl of white rice porridge, and her appetite is still very poor."

Kenneth's eyebrows furrowed into a deep frown. Everyone knew that if Mrs. Sharon continued like this,

her time would be limited. She wouldn't last much longer.

Kenneth strode up the stairs to see Mrs. Sharon, but as he reached the study door, perhaps because

the door wasn't tightly closed, the voices inside quickly reached his ears. It was Tyrone Lucero's voice.

Tyrone came home today.

"Dad, I'm asking you again, where did you take her? Why can't I find her no matter how hard I look?

You, and my grandma, you've already gotten what you wanted. Can't you just give her back to me? I

can save her. Do you have to be so ruthless, selfish, and cold-blooded?"

"That's enough!" It was the voice of Jada Lawson. "Tyrone, have you gone crazy? How can you talk to

your father like this? What's so good about that woman? Did she drug you and confuse you?"

The study door was quickly pulled open, and Tyrone came out.

Kenneth saw Tyrone outside the door, and their eyes met.

Kenneth looked at Tyrone, and his deep eyes were slightly wavering. He knew his younger brother

well. As the youngest academician, Tyrone was arrogant and aloof, with high standards and nothing

that could sway him. He had never lost his composure before.
