Chapter 2152
Keeping Irvin's situation in mind, I sat up wide awake without even a hint of sleepiness when it was almost six in the morning.RêAd lat𝙚St chapters at Novel(D)ra/ma.Org Only
It had been a while since the last time I made breakfast for the kids. I then walked into the kitchen and prepared breakfast with Minnie. I even made some for Irvin and Shirley. I'll bring these with me to the hospital later.
Although some nutrients could be transfused through an IV drip, it still wouldn't be enough for Irvin. He still needed to eat regular food. The dishes prepared by the housekeeper may not have been tasty. But since I had prepared food for him today, I hoped that he would be kinder to me.
While I was boiling up some nutritious soup, Daniel, who was dressed in some neat clothes, came down and cautiously stood by the door. Wishing to help me, he asked, "Is there anything I can help you with?"
"Why don't you get some more sleep?" I yawned and brought him into the living room. "Sit here for a while. I will be done with breakfast soon. After we've eaten, I'll bring you to see your father, okay?" "Okay." Daniel obediently nodded and sat on the
sofa.
Fearing that he might get bored, I asked the servants to bring out some toy model kits that the kids had played with yesterday. "Do you know how to play with these?"
Daniel shook his head. He was confused.
Well, this was expected. He had been drifting around with Shirley and probably never truly enjoyed an actual childhood. He would be quite unfamiliar with toys.
"Well, I can teach you. Every single piece has a number on it. By using the picture guide, you'll need to find the right place to piece them together. Once you've built the entire model, you are done." Crouching down, I took two separate pieces and connected them together, hinting at Daniel, "Just like this, understand?"
"Understood." The child smiled. He then started putting pieces together just as I had shown him. He did it properly.
"Good." I caressed his head approvingly and went back to work.
Twenty minutes later, I then heard an abrupt noise in the living room. Listening to the voice that was talking, I knew that it was Aurelia, that little queen.
"I want a rabbit! Haha!" "Haha, a doggy. A big doggy. Bark!"
"You're lying! That isn't a parrot. It's a bird! You're lying! Do it again, I want a big tiger this time!"
The entire household would be roused awake by her loud voice at this rate.
"Aurelia!" I stepped forward and stopped her. "Your sister went to sleep late last night. You shouldn't shout so early in the morning!"
Aurelia paused for a moment before making an exaggerated "0" shape with her mouth. She then placed her index finger on her lips and made a shushing noise.
Just when I thought she had taken my warning seriously, she began to giggle.
I placed my hands on my waist as I was a little frustrated. What exactly was so funny to her?
I then walked over and saw what it
was. The model airplane pieces I gave Daniel had been reassembled into a rabbit by. There was also a dog and a parrot. Though the edges looked a little rough, the basic structure of the models was well built.
"Did you make all of these?" I never thought that these model pieces could be used this way. How creative of him.
"Yea." Daniel nodded at me. He was building a model tiger with his hands.
This kids imagination was off the charts. He might have a very bright future ahead of him.
Aurelia had a dog-shaped model in one hand and a parrot- shaped model in another. She was playing with them.
When Aurelia noticed that Neal was walking downstairs, she immediately called him over to play. "Neal, hurry over here. This boy's toy models are very interesting!"
"Alright." Neal answered faintly. He walked down the stairs and over to the living room. He took a wide turn, walking past Aurelia and sat down in an empty chair. He then grabbed Daniel's rabbitshaped model and duffy inspected it.
Perhaps it was because of their different upbringing, but when he was in front of Aurelia and Daniel, Neal, who was around the same age as the both of them, had a very different aura about him. He expressed himself more like an adult.
"Aurelia, don't be rude. He has a name. You have to remember to refer to him as Daniel, okay?"
