Colin would deliberately lower his voice whenever he sweet-talked Faye. His voice sounded low and

husky. And it seemed like every of his word could penetrate her heart.

Faye looked into Colin and felt touched and complicated when seeing the sincerity in his eyes.

After coming back to the Fennth Community, Faye excused herself by saying that she wanted to have

a bath. Lying in the bathtub, she was lost in thought with her eyes closed.

Colin must feel uncomfortable when they had the conversation in the underground parking lot. NôvelDrama.Org owns all © content.

Though he didn't say it, it didn't mean she couldn't feel it.

Faye pressed her lips tightly, having mixed feelings.

She had to admit that sometimes what she said and what she did were subconscious.

When people were at ease, they would easily have a slip of tongue.

Leaning against the bathtub, took two deep breaths, and then took the towel aside to dry her hand.

Then she took her phone and sent a message to Rebecca.

[Faye] What are you doing?

Rebecca only replied to her message several minutes later.

[Rebecca] I'm having dinner with a client. What's wrong?

[Faye] Do you know how to coax a person?

Rebecca replied to the message in a second.

[Rebecca] Whom do you want to coax? Your Colin?

Faye admitted it honestly.

[Faye] Yep.

Rebecca immediately sent Faye several question marks when she saw the message.

[Faye] What do you mean?

[Rebecca] Does your Colin need to be coaxed?

Seeing Rebecca's message, Faye pressed her lips, not knowing how to reply to it for a moment.

About five seconds later, Rebecca sent her an obscene emoji and a message.

[Rebecca] Adults' way to apologize. You know.

[Faye]...

At this moment, Colin was having a call with Maxwell in the living room.

Colin asked with a frown, "Is it ready?"

Colin sneered and replied, "Yep. It's ready. I heard that Brandon asked his man to find your assistant. Is

that true?"

Colin sneered and asked though he knew the answer, "When?"

Maxwell paused when he heard his words and said with a sarcastic smile, "Are you still distrusting

me?"

Colin said in a cold voice, "It's unfair. I trust you very much that I even gamble with all my fortune and

life."

Colin replied in a cold voice, "You trust me, so you use my life as the bait?"

Maxwell smiled awkwardly and explained, "I want to use my life as the bait, but it's not attractive to

Brandon. I have no choice."

The more Colin knew about Maxwell, the more he felt he was crazy.

Maxwell teased when he didn't get a response from Colin, "We're partners now. Don't you want to know

why I want to kill Brandon?"

Colin looked out of the window expressionlessly and replied, "I have no interest in this."

Maxwell said, "Tsk, you're really indifferent."

Colin said, "If you really want to say it, you can call Abbot. He's very gossipy and you may have a

pleasant talk with him."

Maxwell fell into silence when Colin mentioned Abbott.

Not getting a response from Maxwell, Colin sneered, "What's wrong? Don't you have Abbot's number?"

Maxwell's smile disappeared as he sneered and said, "Let's stop here."

Colin laughed.

He put his phone into his pocket after ending the call and then went upstairs.

When Colin pushed open the door, Faye happened to walk out of the bathroom in a nightdress.

Their eyes met. Faye asked while drying her hair with a towel, "What would you like for dinner?"

Colin walked into the bedroom and stared at Faye with a smile. He tucked at her collar and asked, "Are

you hungry?"

Faye looked absent-minded because she was troubled by something. She replied, "Not that hungry."

Sensing her weird mood, Colin raised his brows, strode forward, and asked, "What's wrong?"

Faye looked up. Water dropped down her hair, streamed down her collarbone, and then disappeared in

the collar of her nightdress.

Colin's eyes moved with the waterdrops. His Adam's apple bobbed up and down as he called, "Honey."

Faye took two steps forward when she heard Colin's words.

Seeing this, Colin felt his throat dry.

Faye looked into Colin's eyes, reached up to grasp his necktie, and pulled him forward.

Colin leaned forward being caught off guard. Faye tiptoed and kissed him.

Colin felt horny in the face of Faye's seduction. With his arms around her waist, he hugged her tightly.

When they were indulged in sexual desires, Faye whispered into Colin's ear, "Honey, I don't have

mysophobia now."

Colin became breathless and his eyes became unfathomable.

Faye panted and said, "It's like what you're thinking. I'll help you when you completely recover."
