Chapter 532 The Contrast
When Violet finished the words, the security guards who were pulling her immediately withdrew their
hands and looked at a person offstage in a dilemma.
A decently-dressed man was sitting on the second row of the auditorium.
Finding that the security guards were looking at him, his expression turned gloomy.
Ten minutes later, dozens of policemen walked into the theater and took several persons involved in
this case back to the police station, saying that they should cooperate with their investigation as
someone had called the police.
As Violet's ankle was sprained and she had to walk with the support of a crutch, the leader of these
policemen glanced at her foot and asked, "Girl, is it convenient for you to walk?"
Violet replied, "Of course."
While speaking, she jumped down the stairs with the support of the crutch.
It looked comical. The two policemen standing being her tried hard to suppress their laughter when
seeing this.
When Violet jumped down the last step, Faye who stood downstairs reached out to her.
Violet smiled and asked, "Do I look funny?"
Fayre replied with a smile, "Do you want me to answer honestly?"
Violet nodded profusely.
Fayre replied honestly, "Quiet a bit."
Violet's ears turned red as she replied, "I will try my best to restrain myself."
Amused, Faye held Violet's arm to help her and didn't reply to it.
This dance competition ended with a farce.
On the way to the police station, Violet made a call when she was in the car.
When the call was answered, Violet spoke, "Come to the police station now and hand in the evidence
to the police."
The person on the other end of the line said something. Then Violet criticized her in a lower voice, "I'll
teach you a lesson if you delay."
After ending the call, Violet tilted her head to look at Faye.
Seeing Faye's calmness, Violet pressed her lips and said, "Faye, thank you for what you did for me
today."
Faye replied with a smile, "You've thanked me many times today."
Violet clenched her phone and asked, "My performance today..."
Faye interrupted her, "Rest assured. I won't tell Ethan about this."
Violet heaved a sigh of relief and thanked her again, "Thank you."
The Rowans believed in sparing the rod and spoiling the child. Moreover, in this aspect, boys and girls
were all the same in her family. If the Rowans learned about this, Violet was afraid that she had to
suffer.
Violet's mother was a very gentle woman from the south and she always spoke softly. But Violet's
father was a typical man of the north and was very resolute and strong.
Though Violet had inherited her mother's appearance and voice. But to be honest, she didn't resemble
her mother in terms of characteristics, instead, she was more like her father in this aspect.
But with her appearance and voice, other people would be deceived as long as she wasn't angry.
Generally, people wouldn't find it.
When they arrived at the police station, Faye helped Violet get out of the car. Contentt bel0ngs to N0ve/lDrâ/ma.O(r)g!
When they finished the dictations in the police station, Saylor who worked in the offstage area of that
dance competition showed up.
Violet took a USB flash drive and a document file from him and then handed them to a policeman.
The policeman roughly looked at it after taking it from Violet and then stood up and said, "Please wait
for a minute. I need to give these pieces of evidence to my leader."
After a while, the policeman came back. He sat down before Violet and said, "All right. The dictation is
over. You may go back."
Violet paused and then asked, "What kind of punishment will she receive?"
The policeman replied ambiguously, "I'm not clear about it."
Violet knitted her brows when she heard the words. She asked, "Not clear?"
The policeman coughed and then left with an excuse.
Looking at his back, Violet slightly pressed her lips. When she was about to stand up and look for other
policemen, Faye patted her on the shoulder and said, "Let's go."
Violet turned around to look at Faye.
Faye said blandly, "You can't solve this situation."
Violet immediately understood. She took a shallow breath and said, "Okay."
Saylor followed the two after leaving the police station. He asked, "Shall we leave like this? Don't you
want to see what kind of punishment Phoebe will receive?"
No one responded to Saylor's words.
Faye looked at Violet and asked, "Do you have a copy of the evidence?"
Violet replied, "Of course."
Faye suddenly smiled, "Do you mind contacting Ethan under such a circumstance?"
Violet was in a dilemma when she heard the question.
Seeing through Violet's scruple, Faye directly said, "Except for Ethan, I guess other lawyers probably
can't seek justice for you."
Violet pondered for a while with a frown. Then she said, "I'll call Ethan."
Faye replied, "Okay."
Violet then took out her phone and called Ethan.
It rang for several seconds before Ethan answered the call. He asked in a serious, cold voice, "What's
the matter?"
