Marry Ex's Uncle After Divorcement

Chapter 618

Chapter 618

Theresa did not want to face Charlie as well. She had a feeling that whenever she faced him, everything would become more complicated. Whenever her emotions were involved, she would no longer be able to be so calm and collected.

Having received a call from Cristina, Theresa said, “That’s great, that’ll help you to cure your internet addiction.”

Cristina complained, “Theresa baby, you don’t love me! I wanted to celebrate the new year with you, but that’s not going to happen now.”

If Cristina went to see Theresa, Charlie would certainly follow her. It was better to stay in the house and watch Charlie get stressed out.

Theresa said, “It’s okay, we’ll make up for it in the future.”

They had always spent the festivals in the past years together. The four of them, she, Cristina, and the two kids. Those days were quite contenting and fulfilling.

Cristina said, “I won’t have the chance to taste your cooking this time, it looks like.”.

Theresa smiled bitterly, “Brenda cooks better than me, be happy with what you have!”

Cristina seemed to have accepted her fate and said, “Then all the best, send my regards to Leonard and Ben.”

“Hmm,” Theresa said, “Tell him the truth if you need to, in case he bothers you more.”

Dick was taking care of the matters of her family, so Theresa was not worried. Her father called her today as well to tell her about Charlie going to the office. Judging from Charlie’s personality, he was probably planning to make her family bankrupt again! He did exactly that to force Sarah to show up back then.

These responses were all within Theresa’s expectations, so she prepared for them in advance.

In the next few days, Charlie had been looking for Theresa everywhere. While Theresa stayed home and did not go anywhere. She quietly prepared for the New Year. As she told her father about her arrangement with Dick White, her father agreed to let Jimmy help the company. The Cameron’s Group’s crisis was over for the time being.

In the morning, Theresa had just finished her breakfast when the doorbell rang. The sudden loud noise startled her. She came out of the house and arrived at the door. She took a peak and saw it was Rawlins. It was not Charlie! All content is © N0velDrama.Org.

She heaved a sigh of relief, then let Rawlins in. “Mr. Garson, why are you here?”

Two more men followed behind Rawlins and carried down two boxes from the car. Rawlins said to Theresa, “These are shipped by air from the sea, Mr. White asked me to send them to you as the New Year present.”

The boxes were opened and inside was fresh seafood that was still alive. The kids loved to eat these.

Frankly, Theresa was a little surprised. “You’re too kind.”

Rawlins looked at her and said, “To Mr. White, you saved his life. Without you, he can’t even sleep well.

“You’re too kind,” Theresa said, “You guys have provided a lot of help to my family too.”

Rawlins let the two men carry the seafood into the kitchen sink. He then followed Theresa in. “Actually, there’s another thing I’d like to talk to you about today.”

“What is it?”

The two kids were upstairs right now. Theresa and Rawlins were the only ones around.

Rawlins asked, “Charlie has been searching for you lately, did something happen between you two? Mr. White found out about this and helped you cover your tracks.”

It was actually easy for Charlie to find Theresa. However, with Dick’s interference, it made things much more difficult.

Upon hearing what Mr. Garson said, Theresa said, “Mr. White knows about this too?”

Rawlins said, “He always pays attention to Charlie.”

Charlie was openly searching for Theresa everywhere, how could Dick not know?

Theresa did not want to tell Dick about the love and hate between her and Charlie. “Just small things, Mr. White has nothing to worry about. However, do thank him for me for this!”

Rawlins said, “I won’t push you if you don’t want to talk about it. When you’re done with these things, go visit Mr. White. He’s been itching for acupuncture from you.”
