I Refuse to Divorce

Chapter 29

Chapter 29

Zoe was slowly coming back to her senses. How could she let it happen? She pushed against him, ducked his kisses, and spoke in a charming, mature tone, “We can’t do this anymore, Mason.”

How was he supposed to hold it back now?

He pressed his lips on hers and said, “Why can’t we? We’re still a legally married couple.” She was right in his arms. He had held in his desires for a whole night. He was not going to let her go now.

Deriving pleasure from her feminine body, he lowered his head and looked at Zoe who was melting at his touch. Every man was mean in a certain way. The more a lady begged, the more they wanted to tease them. Mason was no exception.

He lifted her and pressed against her. Training his eyes on her, he said flirtatiously, “You said we can’t do it, but your body is far more honest than your mouth! I wish you could see the look on your face right now, Zoe. You look like such a slut!”

Zoe was beyond mad. She said in a husky voice, “Look who’s talking!”

With that, he lowered his head and kissed her again. Material © of NôvelDrama.Org.

Mason was at the prime of his life. He was young, virile, wealthy, and powerful. A lot of ladies wanted to win his heart, but not one of them knew how he was in bed. He was the dominant one!

She was displeased that she was somewhat forced to do it with him. So, she fought him all the way through. Somebody knocked on the door when they were struggling with each other.

The servant probably heard the commotion inside. She hesitated a little before saying softly, “Ms. Mia is on the phone, Mr. Mason. She’s asking if Ms. Zoe’s here! What should I say to her?”

Both of them froze at that moment. Then, Zoe pushed him aside, ran her fingers through her wet hair, and said, “Tell her I’ll be home soon.” With that, the servant nodded and walked away.

She rose and tidied up her clothes. Then, she asked embarrassingly, “Where are my clothes?”

“I was caught in the moment and ripped them last night.” He leaned on the couch without a care in the world, his pants half undone. Taking out a cigarette packet and a lighter, he lit a cigarette and held it in his fingers.

He stared at her and said sarcastically after a brief pause, “Aren’t there clothes in the wardrobe? What’s the matter? Are you not going to put on your old clothes because you don’t think of yourself as my wife? If that’s really how you feel, why were you moaning in pleasure earlier?”

Zoe was sick of hearing his sarcastic remarks. She went to the wardrobe and picked out the most modest outfit. She was about to leave after she took her phone, but Mason rose as well.

“I’ll see you out.”

She turned him down. “We’re getting a divorce. It’s pointless for you to do something nice to me now. Listen to me, Mason. Last night was an accident, it won’t happen again!”

He gripped her wrist immediately. It was plain to see that he was in a foul mood. He dragged her downstairs without a word.

His servants were doing chores in the lobby. None of them dared cast a glance at the couple. Instead, they lowered their heads and pretended to go about their work.

Zoe was basically thrown into the car. Then, he got in the car and slammed the door angrily. She would have disliked it in the past. This time, she merely leaned on the seat and thought he was probably mad because he could not sate his lust.

It was either that or Lilith had upset him.

She was a little distressed when she thought about Lilith. At that moment, he took her hand in his and asked lightly, “What’s on your mind?”
