"Haider," said Haider, "there might be some impact, but not significant. After all, this matter doesn't
directly involve you. I will handle it, so don't worry. Go back and rest."
Just as Sandy was about to say something, her phone suddenly rang.
Seeing the caller ID, Sandy quickly greeted Haider and hurriedly got up to walk towards the door.
"Sandy," Haider called out as Sandy reached the doorway.
Sandy paused and turned to look at Haider. "What's the matter?"
"If you want to go public with our relationship, let me know in advance. We can wait until the company
is prepared," Haider said in a low voice.
Sandy nodded. "Don't worry. If I really want to go public, I will inform you first. I'm a relatively well-
managed artist."
After hearing Sandy's response, Haider chuckled softly. "Alright, go back and rest. The PR department
will handle the upcoming matters."
Sandy acknowledged him. "Thank you, Mr. Hughs."
After leaving Haider's office, Sandy answered the phone. "Give me about five minutes, I'll be down
soon."
On the other end of the line, Brandon replied, "Sure, take your time."
Sandy responded and temporarily hung up the phone, then turned and headed to the lounge.
Upon entering the room, Sandy's presence startled Jones, who was resting in the chair. He looked up
at the door.
Seeing that it was Sandy, Jones settled back into his chair. "What's the news?"
"The police have clarified the truth about the incident and cleared Thompson's name," Sandy said as
she walked towards the desk, looking at Jones who was half-reclining in the chair. "I didn't consider all
the implications of this matter. I thought I could go out without being recognized."
Jones raised his head and stared at Sandy for a while before speaking. "If you had left home earlier, I
genuinely wouldn't have recognized you. I'm curious how those paparazzi managed to recognize you."
Sandy smiled at Jones's rare use of explicit language. "You know, except for my sister, hardly anyone
recognizes me. Well, actually, there is one person who recognized me at first glance."
Jones heard that and looked at Sandy. "The one who's with you, Mr. Austi?"
Sandy nodded. "He's Aaron's older brother."
Upon hearing Sandy's words, Jones's eyes widened considerably. "What did you say? Aaron's older
brother? Aaron has an older brother? A blood-related older brother?"
"Are you checking people's family registers?"
Jones waved his hand. "Not really, I just think Aaron's brother looks more conventional than Aaron
himself."
Sandy looked at Jones. "Your taste is... unique."
"Why? Don't you think his brother looks more conventional?" Jones asked.
Sandy replied in a calm tone, "I never really thought about it. My heart belongs to someone."
Jones yawned. "It's fine to make friends, but you still need to be cautious. After all, you're not an
ordinary person. Do you understand what I mean?"
Sandy responded with an "okay."
"Both of us are 'refugees.' We've already caused expenses for Mr. Hughs before we even started
making money. If this news were to get out, it would seem like we lack gratitude," Jones said seriously.
"What kind of gratitude?" Sandy asked.
"Forgetting favors and being ungrateful," Jones replied earnestly.
Upon hearing Jones's description, Sandy chuckled at him. "I truly appreciate your concern."
Jones sighed. "Let's talk about serious matters. Who do you think might be trying to make you the
scapegoat tonight?"
Upon hearing Jones's question, Sandy's smile faded a bit. "Who do you think it could be?"
Jones analyzed seriously, "In fact, there are only a few people you've met since entering the circle.
When you were at Simsang Entertainment, you were known for taking someone's dessert. Even
though you've left Simsang Entertainment now, some people there might still hold a grudge against you
for taking their dessert. In terms of suspects, it feels like searching for a needle in a haystack."
Sandy looked at Jones. "With your analysis, I'm starting to sound like a public enemy."
"Don't you feel like one? Your recent development has undoubtedly hindered many people's progress.
Can they not resent and hate you? Can they resist eliminating you?" Jones sighed.
Sandy sighed. "There's nothing I can do. I'm beautiful, and I attract good things. There are always
people looking for me. I can't blame myself."
Jones looked at Sandy helplessly and said softly, "Just be a little more relaxed. After all, we've just
arrived at Gotrend Entertainment. For no other reason than Mr. Hughs's kindness, we should try to
avoid causing any trouble."
"I know that. I'll try not to get into trouble. But what if trouble finds me?" Sandy looked at Jones and
asked.
Jones squinted his eyes. "If someone doesn't provoke me, I won't provoke them. If someone provokes
me, I'll eradicate the roots!"
Sandy laughed at Jones's words. "Alright, with you saying that, I can rest assured. You should go back
and rest now. I'll leave too."
Jones stood up. "Let me walk you out."
"No need. Someone is picking me up."
Jones looked at Sandy. "Who? Aaron's brother?"
"What are you thinking?" Sandy said softly. "Brandon has arrived in Manches City. It's been a long time
since I've seen him."
Jones made a sound upon hearing that. "Alright then, what are you waiting for? Go quickly!"
Sandy straightened herself and waved her hand at Jones. "Well, I'm off. Contact me if you need
anything."
"I don't really want to contact you, at least not today," Jones replied, grabbing the car keys from the
table. "Let's go downstairs together."
As they walked, they discussed a few things.
After leaving the company, Sandy immediately spotted the person standing by the car. Without even
greeting Jones, Sandy lifted her foot, ready to rush towards Brandon.
But Jones, quick to react, reached out and grabbed Sandy's arm, scolding in a low voice, "Can't you
wait? There might be paparazzi around. You're risking your life by charging over like that."
Upon hearing Jones's words, Sandy promptly halted her steps. "I got too excited and forgot."
Sandy slowed down her pace as much as possible. "How about we give you a ride back? That way,
people will think he's our new driver."
Jones hesitated for a moment. "Alright, I'll provide cover for you."
In a low voice, Sandy said, "I told Mr. Hughs today that I want to go public with our relationship. Can
you guess his reaction?"
"Sandy, are you crazy?" Jones looked at Sandy with a shocked expression. "You dare to bring up going
public in a situation like this?"
Sandy chuckled. "Mr. Hughs is actually quite reasonable. He said that if I really want to go public, I
must inform him first. As long as I've thought it through, it's fine."
Jones turned his head and looked at her. "Did Mr. Hughs really say that?"
