Chapter 5 Let's Get a Divorce
Chapter 5 Let's Get a Divorce
When the dinner began, Yanis helped Zane with his food and passed him tissues, as she always
does.
Yanis takes great care of Zane in every detail.
"Zane ."
Yanis suddenly called out to Zane after passing him a tissue.
Zane smiled and turned his face to look at her, "What's wrong?"
In front of the Lawrences, Zane's attitude toward Yanis has always been gentle.
Although not to Neve is tender, but compared to their private mode of living together, such Zane is
already considered tender.
Yanis lifted a wine glass, poured it, and then helped fill the glass in front of Zane.
"We've never had a drink before, let's have one tonight."
Zane looked at her and wrinkled his brow, "Don't be ridiculous."
Yanis eyes cleared and she looked at him, "No nonsense."
After saying that Yanis got up and stood up and looked at the crowd in the room, "I have
something I want to tell you."
Once Yanis said this, the eyes of the crowd fell on Yanis.
Yanis raised her glass, "Tonight may be the last time I come to the Lawrence family dinner as
Zane's wife, and after today, Zane and I are no longer married."
Yanis's words caused the crowd to stare in disbelief.
Mrs. Lawrence looked first at Yanis and then at Zane, "Zane, what's going on?"
Even if Mrs. Lawrence's heart has long hated Yanis and Zane divorce, but in front of so many
people, Mrs. Lawrence still have to do the show.
Obviously, Zane didn't expect Yanis to say it directly in front of the crowd.
"Yanis!" Zane looked at her with displeasure, "What are you trying to do?"
Yanis looked at Zane and smiled and said, "Zane , I now realize that I don't like you that much and
I don't love you that much, so I don't want to live with you anymore, let's get a divorce."
Even though she was hurt all over the place, she still didn't want to make it too difficult for him in
front of her family.
"Yanis , what do you mean by that? Is my brother treating you badly?" Phoebe looked at Yanis and
asked in a deep voice.
Yanis said, "Okay, your brother is very nice to me, but I don't love him anymore, I have someone I
like!"
Phoebe was frozen in place and Zane also looked at Yanis in disbelief.
Yanis didn't bother to look at anyone and lifted his glass, "I'd like to propose a toast to all of you for
taking care of me over the past five years."
The words fell, Yanis tilted his head and drank the wine in his glass clean.
After that she put down her glass, "You guys go on, I'll leave."
No one at the table spoke up.
Because even Catherine and Edison, who usually favored Yanis, did not speak up.
"Yanis ." Catherine called out to Yanis as he turned around.
At the sound of her voice, Yanis turned to look at Catherine, "Grandma?" Text property © Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org.
Catherine pointed to one side of the chair, "Since it's the last time, let's finish the last meal, at least
you're still THE Lawrence tonight."
Yanis was slightly stunned and stood still.
Catherine seemed to be a little angry, "What? Do you want me, Catherine, to ask you to sit down?"
Yanis shook her head, "No."
Yanis is back at the table.
It was only the dizzying sensation the moment she sat down that made Yanis frown.
"You come with me, I want to talk to you."
Just after Yanis was seated, Zane suddenly got up and stood up, dropping these words, Zane
turned around and went straight upstairs.
Yanis sat unmoving in his chair.
Edison opened his mouth, "Go ahead and make it clear, so you don't get involved later."
Yanis smiled, got up and stood up, turned around and followed Zane upstairs.
The Lawrence's Manson has an exclusive room on this side of the building.
Whenever they stayed at the Lawrence's Manson, they shared a bed.
Yanis used to think about when they could come to the Lawrence's Manson so they could sleep
together, even if Zane didn't want to, they had to sleep with her.
Yanis followed Zane through the door.
Zane stepped forward and locked the door behind him, turned around and pinned Yanis against
the door, "Yanis, you did that on purpose, didn't you?"
Yanis is not a good drinker, one glass.
Just now so half a glass down, can hold up to now is Yanis's extreme.
Yanis with drunkenness met Zane's eyes full of anger, hooked his lips and smiled, "Don't worry, I
want to divorce this marriage, it's my problem, grandma and them won't blame you."
Zane laughed coldly at that, "Yanis, you really can't beat that trick, can you?"
Yanis raised his hand to push Zane away with his drink, "Yes, I did it on purpose, to make
everyone think I'm giving you a pass on everything, to make Grandma and the others think it's your
fault!"
"Yanis!" Zane approached her again, his eyes full of anger, "Got a crush? Who is it?"
"Is it any of your business?" Yanis struggled to push Zane away again, but she had little strength
now, and her grip on Zane felt like a tease instead.
Zane yanked her over and threw her on the bed, "Yanis, you have no shame!"
Yanis was thrown on the bed, the dizziness became more pronounced, and even looked at the
person on top of him a little flowery.
"Zane , do you think I can't find another man besides you?"
Yanis raised his hand and hit Zane's body, but it was like a cat scratching, not feeling any pain.
"Without you, I can still find a man 10,000 times better than you ...... Well ......"
The latter words were rudely gagged between Zane's lips.
Yanis tried to resist, but there was no strength at all.
The feeling of being awake in the mind, but intoxicated in the body makes Yanis should be
abandoned in the end.
Yanis could not make any sound as the clothes were torn from her body.
Just as Zane was about to make his next move, there was a knock on the door.
Neve's voice came, "Zane?"
Yanis, at the sound of the voice, instantly sobered up a great deal and raised her hand against
Zane, "Mr. Lawrence, your lover is looking for you."
Zane's eyes sank slightly as he raised his hand and grabbed Yanis' wrist, responding in a soft
voice, "Go find Phoebe and have her take you to the guest room to rest,"
After the words, Zane's fierce and strong kiss fell on Yanis' body again ......
Outside the door Neve stood in the doorway, listening to the thin voice coming from inside,
hanging at the side of the hand can not help but tighten some.
After standing for roughly three or four seconds, Neve turned to leave.
As he walked away, he picked up his phone and dialed a number out, "Blast the photos out."
This night, Yanis was tossed and turned for half the night before the war was over.
Early the next morning.
Yanis opened her eyes and she was alone in the bed.
Yanis frowned at the soreness in her body.
The images from last night were like a movie playing in the mind.
Raising a hand to pinch his brow, Yanis got up and sat up, the large room lingering with the scent
of last night's still dissipating.
But another party is missing.
