Chapter 247 Help You Together!
Chapter 247 Help You Together!
Kennedy frowned and stared at the women stood not far away from him.
"I beg your pardon?"
Charlotte smiled wryly. "What if I say it again? Can you change my mind? Kennedy, since you don't
care about me, leave you alone!"
"Leave you alone?” Kennedy sneered, there was dangerous light in his eyes, “So you want to be with
Manfred? Am I in your way?"
"Yes!" Charlotte got courage and loudly shouted at him, “So what?"
For a moment, Kennedy’s pupils suddenly enlarged and then shrank. Hearing that she admitted it,
there was like something in his heart, ruthfully choked his heart, making him almost could not breathe.
The damned woman!
She admitted it! Did she want to be with Manfred?
Before he could recover his temper, Charlotte turned her back.
"I like Manfred. He is gentle and courteous, much better than you who are so arrogant and always want
to control others. Kennedy, you always think I like you, in fact you are wrong, I don't like you at all. I
wouldn't like a man like you if every other man were dead."
With that, Charlotte did not care about his reaction but walked away directly.
Kennedy sitting on the wheelchair felt his heart pricked by needle. This kind of indescribable feeling
made him frown. He pressed down his chest.
Was his heart aching?
Because of that woman? How ridiculous!
Kennedy looked at her back, showing a cold ironical radian on lips. NôvelDrama.Org © 2024.
It was just a woman and it was nothing to him. He did not need a woman.

Having said that, Charlotte could not help but wet her eyes as she lay back on her bunk.
She said those words in a harsh way, but she knew that those words actually only hurt herself, perhaps
Kennedy did not care what she said.
Later, when she heard that he had gone to take a shower, Charlotte thought of something and sat up,
wiped the tears from her face, got up and walked over to the suit he had put on the shelf.
The suit was the same one he was wearing, so if he had given it to Diana, the box wouldn't be in it.
Charlotte acted cautiously, like a thief. She put her hand into both pockets and felt it. After a moment,
she felt a small hard box.
Was it still there?
Charlotte stood for a moment and took the box out.
Sure enough, it was the small box she saw that day. How could he still have it here?
Did she misunderstand him?
For a moment, Charlotte felt very guilty at the bottom of her heart. If she had misunderstood him, then
she had said those words to hurt him...
Thinking of this, Charlotte stretched out her hand to open the box, and then she froze in place.
Moments later, she closed the box with a wry smile and casually put it back in the pocket of the suit.
Charlotte's body stumbled forward.
As she lay down, she closed her eyes, and the tears ran down in despair.
The box was empty.
The pink earrings were no longer in there.
They were on Diana's ear.
When Diana mentioned this pair of earrings, she was shy and stopped talking about it and asked
Charlotte to believe her.
Believe her what? Charlotte could not figure out what had happened.
Charlotte closed her eyed. What Diana and Kennedy said to her and did to her came to her mind,
gradually, Charlotte felt asleep.
In the middle of the night, Charlotte woke up and found that her pillow was wet.
In desperation, she had to turn her pillow over to sleep. The room was very quiet. She lay on her side
looking out of the window at the moonlight. And a moment later, she closed again her eyes
Well, that was it.
It was a good thing to help others.
After all, a woman like her on a second marriage and was pregnant with other man’s child did not
deserve love at all.
Tomorrow, she would talk to Diana.
After thinking it clearly, she found she calmed down. She had a sound sleep. When she woke up the
next day, she calmly got up to change her clothes and wash. Then she sat down at the dressing table
and began to make up in the mirror.
Kennedy could not help but frown when he saw this scene.
Why did this woman change suddenly? They had married for so long, it was the first time to see her
sitting in front of the mirror to make up.
Charlotte rarely made up, but that didn’t mean she could not do it. When she was a girl and gathered
with friends, she loved dressing up. But later time was not allowed her to do so, and she just gave up.
She earnestly drew eyeliner sitting in front of the mirror. Her hand did not shake. The eyeliners were
fine and beautiful. Soon it was done. The fine black eyeliner outlined her cold eyes. The she began to
curl eyelashes, and then apply eyelash cream.
When she put the lipstick on, she pressed her lips. It made her lips bright and red.
When she put down the lipstick, Charlotte found that she had not put on shadow. As she was to put it
on, she found a figure was behind.
Kennedy...
Through the mirror, Charlotte saw Kennedy staring at her darkly.
"It is the first time you put on makeup." He said in a low voice and with a gloomy face.
Charlotte smiled at him in the mirror and said, "Isn't it good? I make myself pretty and it is good for you,
but... I'm sure you won't need that."
She said the last sentence in a very low voice. Kennedy could not hear it clearly, and he frowned in
displeasure, “What the hell did you say?"
Charlotte came back to sense and smiled at him in the mirror. "Did I say anything? I'm just saying, if I
dress up nicely, it is good to you too."
With that, Charlotte got up and picked a light blue long skirt in the wardrobe. When she came out, she
put down her hair, which scattered on the shoulders, making her look charming.
See Charlotte like this, Kennedy felt complex in heart.
He pressed his thin lips and asked coldly, "You're going out?"
Hearing this, Charlotte nodded, "Yes, I'm going to ask Diana out. It's been a long time since we went
shopping together."
Hearing the name of Diana, Kennedy’s face expression changed, looking unnatural.
"You want to see her?"
