Chapter 46: You’re the first woman who dares to slap me
This caller ID had called her several times, but she never answered.
The doorbell disturbed her.
She got up and went to the door. Xabat, who was at the door and kept calling out to her, froze for a moment: “Madame ….”.
“Don’t call me ma’am.” Allyce replied casually; she didn’t call him, “You’re just in time. Wait.”
His expression was still cold, so Xabat unconsciously did not go in.
Allyce pulled the sheets off the bed and spread them out on the floor.
Then he opened the wardrobe and took out all of Severo’s clothes, throwing them on the sheets. In addition to his clothes, there were the toilet utensils from the bathroom and the cups he used to drink every day …
Until there was no trace of Severo’s life in the room, he tied the four corners of the sheets together, dragged them towards the door and threw them in front of Xabat.
“These are your boss’s belongings. I know he doesn’t want them any more, but it takes a lot of effort to throw away so much junk. You pick it up and throw it away.
Allyce finished these words with an expressionless face, intending to close the door.
Xabat, who was dazed by the fluidity of her movements and her words, finally came to his senses. He hurried to stop her, “Madam ….”.
Allyce glared at him, so he hastened to change direction: “Miss Allyce, it was my boss’s fault for hiding your identity from you. But he saved you …”
“Severo told you to say that?” Allyce interrupted.
When he felt her tone, Xabat knew something was wrong. He quickly denied it: “No, no”.
Allyce raised her eyebrows and looked at him, suddenly curving her lips into a smile. I have nothing to pay him, and he’s not short of money. I suppose I could pay him back by having a one-night stand with him.”
Xabat was surprised, “Allyce …”
However, he was stopped by another voice tinged with anger: “Allyce!
Allyce looked up and saw Severo standing behind Xabat.
He turned his face to Xabat and then said coldly, “Allyce!”
Xabat hung his head in shame. For a gentleman, he had made the deception of cheating on a woman, which was really a bit despicable.
However, his boss paid his salary for the food, so he had to do as he was told.
Allyce glared at him.
Xabat turned his head to one side and put one foot in front of the door. This left Allyce unable to close the door.
Severo strides over and places his hand on Allyce in the doorframe.
Allyce felt a sensation like an electric shock and withdrew her hand.
Severo opened the door effortlessly and entered.
Relieved to see Severo enter, Xabat withdrew his foot and closed the door.
He leaned against the door, relieved. Allyce was a slim woman, and yet when she stared at him, he felt her gaze almost pierce him like a sword.
The owner’s wife was really unusual.
Xabat looked at the pile of things Severo had used earlier and the corners of his mouth twitched.
In the house.
Allyce opened the fridge and took out a can of beer before settling back on the sofa, not even looking at Severo.
“How dare you drink beer when you just got out of the hospital?” Severo’s icy voice sounded behind her.
Allyce ignored him, took a sip and turned on the television.
“Didn’t you hear me?” Severo walked over and stood in front of her, then grabbed the beer in her hand.
Allyce was also furious. She slammed the remote on the floor and stood up abruptly: “I didn’t hear you. Whatever you’re saying, I can’t hear you!” This is my house! Please come out! Big Chief!”
Allyce pointed a white finger at the door, her chest rising and falling violently with her rapid breathing. She was on the verge of a tantrum.
Severo was distracted by his fingers. The little woman in front of him was very young; she was five years younger than he was. When she smiled, she was beautiful; when she was angry with him, she still looked great.
He had seen many beautiful women. Yet this little woman had a regular attraction for him. Why else had he shagged her when he could have dropped the act that very night?
He knew she was angry now and would not listen to him.
So he simply lowered his head and placed a kiss on her lips.
Allyce was stunned for a moment by his sudden movement. Then she reached out to push him away.
Severo expected Allyce to push him away, so the precognitive hugged her tightly.
“Mmm… You…” Allyce was no match for Severo in terms of strength.
Severo paid no attention to his punches and kicks. With his strength, these attacks were like tickling.
It wasn’t until Allyce was exhausted from attacking him and went limp in his arms that Severo let her go.
Unexpectedly, just as he let go of Allyce, she raised her hand and slapped him across the face.
“Slap!”
With Severo off guard, Allyce slapped him. And Severo turned his head from the impact. From NôvelDrama.Org.
Allyce slapped him with all her might to vent her anger.
When Severo turned his head to look at her, Allyce finally realised that his cheeks had turned red and that there was an infinite darkness in his gaze.
Allyce felt terrified and nervous at the look in his eyes.
When they had been together, Severo had indeed given him cold looks several times. However, he wasn’t as scary as he was now.
She was too used to the kind and considerate Severo of the past, but she thought that perhaps this was Severo’s true colour. Gentleness and consideration were his disguise.
The room was then enveloped in a long silence. It was so quiet that Allyce could even hear her own heart beating.
“You are the first woman who has ever dared to slap me.
God knows why Severo’s voice became a little rougher.
Allyce took another step back and looked at him warily, “You want to slap me back?
She pretended to be strong and he could sense it somehow in her voice.
Severo stared at her for a couple of seconds, then suddenly smiled: “You’ll come to me later.
As he finished the sentence, he turned and walked away.
Bang!
The door slammed shut.
At the sound of the door closing, Allyce sat slumped on the sofa as if exhausted.
Severo’s gaze at this moment was ….
She had the illusion that he would slap her twice in retaliation.
Shivering, Allyce picked up the beer she had just drunk and took a sip to calm herself.
She groped her way to bed and fell asleep without even showering.
She was then tormented by nightmares throughout the night.
When she woke up the next morning, she felt even more tired after a night’s sleep.
Allyce cleaned herself from head to toe, then cleaned every inch of the house, changed the sheets and then threw out all the food in the fridge.
Everything was as it had been when she returned to China, except the wall that had been torn down.
And so it was. She was once again the same helpless Allyce who trusted no one.
Yes, it had been abandoned again.
Severo had lied to him and could not return to the Delahoz house. However, what had to be done had to be done. In any case, life must go on.
He should get a job before investigating his father’s case.
Severo is not coming back, is he?
He was the boss behind Kimdis; he certainly did not lack money or women. So how could he come to her, an ungrateful woman. He probably won’t come back.
