Fatal Kiss Of The Vampire

Chapter 92: Don’t Eat Them

Laurence patted Khloe on the back to reassure her and indicated the PR team to post an article at midnight. It would read that after meeting Aiden, Kylie had taken a fancy to him and kept seducing him. That day Khloe had seen Kylie in Connell. Worrying that Kylie would harass Aiden again, Khloe had sent someone to see what Kylie had been doing.

Khloe did not want William to be involved, afraid that he would become the next victim of Kylie. Thus, Khloe had said to the public that the man in the video was a man who looked like William. At the end of the post, Laurence made the PR team imply that there was someone manipulating behind this whole ordeal in order to ruin Khloe and Garcia Entertainment.

After the article was posted, Laurence hired some paid posters and bribed several influential posters on Instagram to whitewash the scandal of Khloe. Then he instructed the team to continue to post the photos of Khloe working hard despite being sick at times, creating a positive image that she was a professional and a hard-working actress hoping to overshadow this shit show.

The only thing keeping Khloe calm was the fact that no matter how bad this all was, the public would be bored one day. And at that time, other news would flood their screens, and they would forget these negative reports of her. Then she could still be the princess of Garcia Entertainment and would get her shares from the company. And God is her witness, and she WOULD take revenge on her bitch of a sister.

If Tea House was shut down, they intended to start the shooting of Blossom, which was invested by their own company. Khloe was still the first heroine of Blossom. There would be no impact at all. On the contrary, actually, her visibility would be improved because of the new drama. Conversely, if Tea Maiden continued shooting under pressure, it was also good for her, because her image in the play was very positive.

Faith read the article posted by Garcia Entertainment with an ironic look on her face, “Well, this is quite the shit show…” she murmured to herself. “I need to speak to Kylie,” Faith decided. However, when she arrived at Kylie’s old home, she found it empty as if someone had not lived there for ages.

Confused, she called Kylie on her cell, which picked up, “Hey Kylie, why are you not home? I’m standing outside.”

Kylie was cooking breakfast for Ethan, and she smiled into the phone, “Yes, I forgot to tell you, I’ve moved elsewhere.”

“Moved? Is it safe? Do Khloe and your father know?”

Kylie turned her head and saw Ethan walking downstairs. He had just finished working out and was wearing a vest with short shorts. His muscles glistened with sweat, and he wiped it away, not seeing Kylie was on the phone. Walking over, he hugged and gave her a peck on the cheek and said, “Why do you get up so early? You don’t have to make breakfast, and they’ll do it.”

Faith was shocked as she heard a man’s voice on the other side; she was not stupid to guess who Kylie was staying with.

“Kylie, who are you with now? Don’t get into a random guy’s bed because you’re hurt by Aiden Parker! Listen to me, where are you now? I’ll come to pick you up, and we can sit down and make a plan. We don’t need to depend on men, Kylie! I’m your assistant, and you have to believe and trust me!”

Kylie did not know what to say. She turned to look at Ethan, covered the cell phone, and said to him, “It’s Faith, I did not tell her my address. She’s a bit grumpy now, and I have to go to my old place so I can explain everything to her. Otherwise, she might have a heart attack!” Ethan frowned, he was not happy for Kylie to meet anyone from her past, but Faith had always been nice to her. At least that’s what Kylie told him, so he guessed he could trust her.

Ethan nodded, “I’ll ask Elliot to pick her up and bring her here.”

Kylie was astonished at his response. She had heard from the housekeeper that Ethan did not like women getting close to the mansion. But now he was willing to bring Faith here for her, and the scary thing was that Kylie did not know if this was a good idea or not.

“Um, are you sure. It’s not convenient; I’ll go meet her…” Kylie piped up softly.

“You’re afraid that she will find out you’re my wife?”

Without responding, Kylie spoke into the phone to Faith, “Wait there, someone will come to pick you up.”

Faith was really angry but agreed and hung up the phone.

Putting her phone aside, Kylie smiled sweetly at Ethan who was still holding onto her, “Breakfast is ready, do you want to eat now or shower first?”

“Now, I don’t want to waste all my wife’s hard work,” Ethan replied as he carried the tray in one hand, holding Kylie’s hand in the other.

As soon as Kylie took a bite of the pancakes she had made, she spotted them out. “Don’t eat them! Oh, my God! I think I put too much salt while answering the phone. I’ll go make some more for you.”

Ethan put down the fork that was about to go in his mouth, laughing. “No, I can do it.” He said as he got up and walked to the kitchen.

“You can cook?” Kylie followed him, amazingly watching him beat the eggs and fry the sausages. Less than three minutes later, two steaming eggs and sausages were placed on the table.Text © 2024 NôvelDrama.Org.

Looking at the presentation of the plates, Kylie scoffed and said, “Well, that makes me feel wonderful. My husband is better than me in everything.”

Faith was waiting anxiously in front of Kylie’s old home. She thought it was not worth it, why would Kylie sacrifice her own body for revenge? Yes, the show business was complicated, and yes, Kylie’s fucked up family situation made everything worse, but that was no reason to degrade yourself like that!
