Darling, Please Love Me Again! (Gisele Meyer)

Chapter 58

Chapter 58

Angle buried herself into Gisele’s arma and walled.

“H–he’s sending me abroad to keep Abbott Corporation afloat!” she said In between sobs.

Gisele stood there and let Angle cry in her arms. She felt her blood run cold, so much so that she felt her breath being stifled,

Was this Dorian’s way of teaching them a lesson?

“Don’t cry…” Gisele comforted in a low whisper, finally finding her voice after quite some time.

But Angle, who was usually headstrong and resilient, cried like a helpless child. “What should I do? Would things have turned out differently had I not said what I did, GI?”

Even if she were a fool, she knew that this was Dorian’s warning to her.

“This has nothing to do with you. It’s my fault, this is all because of me,” Gisele said before managing a weak smile and taking Angie’s hand tightly in hers.

Angie shook her head and said, “This is all because I was ignorant. I was so ignorant that I fell in love with him, married him, and took the place of the woman he loves. That’s why things turned out this way.”

But just

t

as she was about to explain further, there was a knock on the door.

Gisele patted her on the shoulder and handed her a piece of tissue to wipe her face with.

“I’ll be fine, don’t worry about me. It’s you I’m worried about. You must take good care of yourself there, you hear me?”

“Gi…” Angie had barely managed to control her tears, but when she heard Gisele’s words, tears fell once

again.

When Gisele opened the door, she found four bodyguards at their door. They had stern looks on their faces, and they completely ignored Gisele. They had their eyes on Angie.

The leader of the bodyguards called out to her, “Ms. Abbott, please come along with us.”

“Are we in such a rush? I–I haven’t packed yet. Can’t we wait till tomorrow?”

har

A look of panic took over Angie. She knew that she had no other way out, but she never expected them to

come for her so soon.

Gisele frowned and blocked the bodyguards outside the door. “It’s past 9 pm now. Are there any more international flights out? Can’t we wait for a flight that leaves tomorrow morning?”

“The flight’s in two hours,” one of the bodyguards answered.

Gisele intended to say something, but with a wave of his hand, a bodyguard pushed her away. He marched straight up to Angie and forcibly dragged her out.

Their actions were rough, and the more she struggled, the tighter their grip on her arms became. It was

only a matter of seconds before red marks started appearing on her arms.

When Angle saw that her struggles were in vain, the only thing she could do was turn around and remind Gisele, “Gi, you must get a divorce with that vile man! Live your life well!”

The only one Angie was worried about was Gisele. Though Gisele was no longer as timid as she used to be, what were her chances of getting anything out of going against the richest man in Heathfield?

Tears streamed down Gisele’s face. She bit her l*p as she nodded forvently. “I will. I’ll take good care of myself, and you must do the same too! Don’t worry about me…”

It wasn’t until Angle was dragged into the elevator that Gisele slumped to the ground. She felt that she was truly wretched. Everyone around her was always implicated because of her.

But she’d never thought of taking anyone or anything away from Sierra…

All of a sudden, a cold, dominating voice boomed from above her. “Must I break your legs to stop you! from running away?”

Gisele froze for a split second before looking up at Dorian in surprise. Why was he here?

Her mind was blank as she quickly scrambled to get up on her feet. Her face was as pale as a sheet and her eyes had the most miserable look in them.

Dorian’s

expression was dark as he fixed his sinister gaze on her.

Why was she putting on such a pitiful act? Was she trying to get him to take pity on her? All content is property © NôvelDrama.Org.

He grabbed her hand in frustration and was about to yank her over to the elevator. But the moment his hand came in contact with hers, she acted like his touch scalded her. She immediately pulled her hand back, raising her defenses.

“What? Will you keep your virginity for that boyfriend of yours?”

Dorian shot her a sharp look and taunted, “Say, if he knew how you’d panted and begged for mercy beneath me, would he still want a promiscuous gold digger like you…”
