Chapter 21 To His Surprise, There Was a Long-Lost Feeling
Twenty minutes later, Margery was stunned as she took the business license from Mr. Lau whose attitude changed from arrogant to humble.
Happiness came so suddenly that she was a little confused.
Not long ago, this little leader was so impatient that he wanted her to wait until the end of the world. It has not been long before he took the initiative to deliver what she needed. Someone must have helped her.
Thinking of this, Margery narrowed her charming eyes and asked tentatively, "Did Melvin, Mr. Collins call you?"
Ahem, what Melvin!
Mr. Lau almost shouted but remembered Golden's instructions before he left and could only swallow his pride and keep quiet.
Seeing the other party's constipated look, Margery immediately concluded that the person who helped her was no one but Melvin.
It could only be that guy who fooled around all the time and made others mad as soon as he spoke.
Margery gave a sympathetic look to Mr. Lau and slightly squeezed the business license in her hand, taking a load off her mind. She turned and walked away briskly.
In order to thank Melvin for helping her selflessly for so many years, she decided to treat him to dinner tonight.

At night, Margery and Melvin sat in an elegant and quiet restaurant.
Margery drank in a good mood at first and joked with Melvin.
But after drinking her fifth glass, she had a low mood and sighed while supporting her chin. There was vague uncertainty in her eyes. "Brother Melvin, after the hospital builds reputation, will Golden come to my small hospital for treatment?"
Melvin snatched the half-empty bottle of alcohol from her hand and poured it for himself. He held his head up and drank more than half of it. Seeing how drunk and uncomfortable she was based on her frown, he shook his head in disappointment. "He'll definitely come! Don't worry! Leave it to me! If he doesn't come, I'll hold him at gunpoint and force him to come. Weren't you confident during the day? How come you are discouraged after a few drinks at night?"
"I'm not discouraged!"
Margery smiled bitterly. She held her head up and forced back the mist over her eyes. "I just thought of Andrew and remembered that he killed my little boy with his own hands. I can't control my hatred. I'm worried that I won't be able to control myself that I would stab him and kill him when I give him treatment."
Melvin stopped in his tracks, as he was about to pick up vegetables, and felt pain and chills somewhere below his abdomen. He smacked his lips and said, "Don't! Control your hand! You would be going easy on him if you killed him with a single cut. You need to at least tear him to pieces!"
"Forget it, let's not talk about it." Margery frowned and took a sip of dark beer. Her red lips moved slightly, "Um... I'm going to the washroom."
She stood up and wandered along the wide corridor to the washroom on the second floor.
When she arrived, she found that there was a long line because today was a weekend, so there were a lot of couples eating out for their dates. It looked like there were at least thirty people in line.
Afraid that she could not hold it, Margery took a deep breath and staggered to the third floor.
Different from the hustle and bustle on the first and second floors, this floor was terribly quiet. It was composed of private rooms, which were probably prepared for powerful officials.
Such luxurious private rooms must be equipped with ensuite washrooms.
Margery drank too much alcohol and felt dizzy and uncomfortable. Her abdomen hurt, and she could not hold it anymore. She found the nearest private room and glanced inside. When she saw no one in the room, she snuck in and flowed the signs to the washroom door while feeling weakness in her legs. Just as she opened the door, she was stunned.
There was someone inside; it was a tall man. His back faced her, and he was focusing on running water from the tap.
He wore the standard white dress shirt and dress pants, befitting his social class. His legs were long— very long.
There was the kind of man who exuded elegance and grace even when he peed. This content provided by N(o)velDrama].[Org.
Gradually, Margery became cross-eyed from alcohol and felt that the man's back and posture were very much like Golden.
'Golden, Golden, you hurt me and killed Andrew. Won't you have a guilty conscience?'
Feeling foggy in her head, she did not think so much. She swayed on her feet and pounced on him impulsively, intending to get revenge. "Son of a bitch, why are you so cruel to me? Go to hell!"
She could not control her strength the moment she pounced that she slipped and fell weakly to the tile floor—
When she fell, she unexpectedly scratched the man's flat and lean abdomen with her right hand, leaving behind five small nail marks.
The man's handsome body was suddenly stiff, as if he did not expect to be cursed and scratched by a drunk woman. He turned his head slightly. When he saw that she was the woman he came across at noon who was so beautiful that she shone, he immediately looked upset. "Fuck off."
The air pressure was suddenly low and frightening.
Margery was dizzy and did not hear that he told her to go away. She was also slow and did not feel the cold air pressure. She sneered and swayed as she got up from the ground and pounced on him again. "Wait! Just you wait! I'm going to kill you!"
The drunk woman would not stop fooling around and pestering him!
Golden pulled up his pants with one hand and walked out quickly.
At this moment, he felt that there was something wrong with his eyes that he thought she looked like Margery.
Except for her name, she was not the least like her.
He walked in a hurry. Suddenly, she stood on tiptoe and fell towards him. A soft woman with a faint elegant fragrance fell into his arms, awaking the desires that have been dormant for five years inside of him. He instantly felt his blood pumping like rolling waves.
When her small hand touched him, to his surprise, there was a long-lost feeling—
The excitement of a fiery liqueur instantly projecting through his body only ever happened because of Margery.
Golden immediately held her soft waist and pinched her chin, forcing her to look directly at his cold eyes. He asked coldly, "Who are you?"
Margery was completely drunk and relaxed: her voice was hoarse, and she was unfriendly. "I... Margery! Humph! You are not only cruel and blind, but also stupid. You don't even recognize me!"
"..."
Golden's face turned grim immediately. He wanted to throw her to the ground, but he thought about the wonderful feeling just now when her small hand touched him. He licked his lips, and a sneer formed in the deepest part of his dark eyes. "Want to play with fire?"
The last word "fire" made Margery suddenly sober.
"Don't talk to me about fire! The thing I hate the most in my life is fire! The fire was so big, and it burned everything. I cried and I begged, but I couldn't protect my favourite baby no matter what."
She pushed him away suddenly, as tears fell from the corner of her eyes, and shouted hysterically, "I hate you, I hate you to death! Fuck off! You fuck off!"
Golden stood there, lit a cigarette, and smoked. His face was blank for a long time, and finally, he was too lazy to bother with a drunk woman, so he slammed the door and left.
"Humph, I'll kill you if you don't fuck off!"
Margery drank too much alcohol and became tipsy. Her head felt foggy and numb.
She stayed still in a daze and suddenly realized what she was there for, so she returned to the washroom and remembered to close the door.
Ten minutes later, Margery swayed in the corridor. Before she walked far, a black shadow suddenly came straight towards her.
