Chapter 23 Angry
Nina POV
This dude is annoying, I want to be calmed with him, but he’s acting tough. Who does the rubbish he just did? What a normal and responsible person would do in a situation like that, was to help me, but no, he decided to take advantage of my shortness. Is it my fault that I’m not tall? Everyone cannot be like tree, right?
“Are you being serious right now miss? The last time I checked, I didn’t take this from you, did I?” He asked unbelievably.
“The last time I checked, I was struggling to get it, when you came out from nowhere, and took it away. What a normal and well brought up person will do in that case, was just to help me out, than do that shit you did!” I yelled angrily, glaring hard at him. Been hearing about all these rich and handsome dudes, being arrogant and annoying, never knew I was gonna meet one.
“It’s not my fault that you’re short, is it?” He rolled his eyes, as he tucked his hands in his pockets, a smirk settling on his face.
“You!” I bit my lower lip angrily, glaring at him. How dare him insult me in that manner? How dare he tell me such shit, huh?
“You know everyone can’t be a tree, right?” I smirked at him, before walking over to the counter, where the chocolate was laying, and I grabbed it, before turning to face him.
“This is not over yet Mr, and as for this, take it and go to hell!” I said, as I threw it hard on his forehead, before storming out of the place.
Stepping out of the mall, I walked briskly to the roadside, and hailed down a cab, which took me to Eve’s house. How much I’ve really missed her, can’t believe I’m just seeing her for the first time since she came back from Paris. It isn’t entirely my fault though, she’s always busy with work, so I had to wait till when she’s less busy, before visiting her.
I placed a soft knock on her door, and waited patiently for her to come open it. The door creamed opened, revealing my crazy girl.
“Yo girlfriend!” I said excitedly, as I jumped on her, as we both landed on the floor in a loud thud.
“Argh! Nina please don’t kill me.” She winced amidst chuckles.
“I’ve missed you so much girlfriend.” I said happily, getting off her body.
She stood up and went to close the door, before coming to sit beside me on the couch.
“I’ve missed you too girlfriend. Did you get me something?” She asked curiously.
“One idiot ruined everything babe. I wanted to get you your favorite chocolate, and when I finally found it one idiot came from nowhere, insulted me and took it from me. You won’t believe the crazy dude dared to tell me that it isn’t his fault that i’m short, like what the fuck!” I huffed angrily, shaking my head. That dude got some nerves, but I won’t let this slide, he should just pray that I don’t see him anywhere, he’ll so hear from me, I’ll make sure I give him a taste of his own soup, and see how it tastes.
“What! Did you beat him up?” She gritted her teeth.
“I didn’t, but trust me, I gave him a piece of my mind, and I bet he must be him, crying by now. The idiot got no manners at all, he’s telling me shits, can you imagine that nonsense. I’ve marked his face now, so not to worry, we’ll teach him a lesson one of these days, he should just pray I don’t run into him anywhere, else he’ll be doomed.” I said seriously.
“I trust you girl.” She chuckled softly.Property © 2024 N0(v)elDrama.Org.
“So girl, how have been your stay in Chicago? How’s this place treating you?” I asked, anticipating for the full gist.
“Well, it’s still same way as it has always been, just that I’ve gat so many works at hand, going from company to company, and all that. You wont believe I started work the day I came back from Paris.” She rolled her eyes.
“Are you for real?” My eyes widened in shock.
“Yeah, and let me give you the shocking news of your life. I saw Ivan.” She said, and rested her her cheek on her palm, giving me a funny look.
“Which Ivan?” I asked, totally clueless on who she was talking about.
“What kind of a dumb question is that? Ivan our then classmate.” She rolled her eyes.
“Oh! My bad. Yeah. So that dude is still alive?” I asked unbelievably. You wouldn’t blame me, would you? That dude is one hell of a badass, I never knew he could still be alive until now, considering how he messes around, I was thinking he must’ve been killed by some guys. That dude is one of the annoying guys I’ve ever seen.
“Nothing good will ever come out of your mouth Nina, but anyways, not that I care if he dies though, that guy is evil, a thorn on my flesh, urgh!” She cringed.
“So, has he changed?” I asked curiously, expecting the worst answer, coz the Ivan I know, will never change for any reason, he’s evil, and will always be.
“Please let’s talk about something else, that dude is never going to change, he said it to my face. He’s not worth talking about, so can we talk about something else?” She rolled her eyes in pure disgust. I don’t blame her for hating that dude, even you will hate him woth passion, if you ever got to know what he did to her back in school. There was a time I kicked his ass for being so rude to my friend, but the dude ended up making me have a taste of my own soup, as he took my test notebook on the day I was to submit it. That’s the day I can never forget in my entire life. That day, I had got angry, when I found out that he made my friend cried, so I made sure I arranged some of my dudes to beat him up, and guess what he later did, he took my test notebook on the day I was to submit it, and that was how I failed my test, and had to repeat class, gosh! That dude is really a devil in human’s form.
“Guess wha…” Her voice trailed off, as a knock came on the door…
