Chapter 11: The lying b tch

What do you do when the only girl you ever really felt something for, trusted and protected ends up hurting you in the worst way possible? A betrayal that left you with a scar so deep that every breath was a torture.

That you couldn't understand what you did to deserve that.

That you question every fucking feeling you ever felt for her.

Elsa Huxley was the girl in my life who made me feel helpless and broke me into pieces I couldn't find.

She betrayed me and left me behind like I meant nothing to her.

I gave her a chance to save herself because somewhere deep down I didn't want to hurt her back.

I gave her a chance to run away as far as she could, so I won't be tempted to ruin her the way she ruined me.

But now here she was… she just barged into my life like she belonged here, like she thought I had forgotten the past and her betrayal.

I hadn't.

And I would let her know what were the consequences of playing with me This time I wouldn't slip into the mindless obsession.

This time I won't be blinded by her flawless beauty and deep blue eyes.

Those ocean eyes had betrayed me before and taught me a lesson.

And I learned.I learned to never trust them again.

This time I would be the one to break her into pieces and make sure she didn't ever get them back together..

She was prettier than I thought.

Sitting under the sun in the garden, she looked like a princess who had walked out of the book.

My brother sat beside her, but it was easy to ignore him when her bright beauty blinded anyone who looked in their direction.

Her hair was strawberry blond, shone bubble-gum pink under the sun.

Her face was flawless, all creamy skin that looked like it'd tarnish if touched.

Even from a distance I could see how big her eyes were.

One could lose himself in their depths.

'I had seen her only two days ago in that small cottage at the edge of the property that neared the forest, but even in the dim light I had seen how enormous those blue eyes were on her beautiful face.

And as I walked toward them, I heard her soft voice and then the laugh.

The tinkling sound registered and made something in me perk up at that beautiful sound.

"Kristoff!"

She yelled as she tried to take something from my brother, but she was still laughing and I didn't want to look away. She was a sight to behold and I didn't want to miss even a moment of her innocent beauty.

"Stop it!"Published by Nôv'elD/rama.Org.

Reluctantly, I pulled my gaze from her to my stupid brother.

I watched as he held the small notebook over his head and away from her grabby hand.

"I will give it to you when you say it."

She let out a soft growl.

My brother laughed.

I frowned.

After a moment, she said, "Fine. You are my friend. Now give my notebook back to me."

I reached them and they both turned to look up at me from their position on the ground.I plucked the notebook from my little brother's hand, he smiled at me.

The little rascal.

But when I looked at her, she refused to meet my gaze.

"Here."

I held out the notebook for her.

She extended her hand to take the book, but I pulled it away at the last moment. She scowled at me.

I bit back a smile as I said, "Say, please."

She waited a moment as if deciding if I was serious.

"Please…"

She whispered finally, that small word was receptionist told me that there was no one living in the apartment no.608, that was mentioned in the file.

In fact, there was no resident named Elsa or Smith or Huxley.

The lying bitch.

I wondered if the story of her mother suffering from cancer was even the truth or if she made it up.

If she thought that she could get away so easily by fooling me she was in bigger trouble than she imagined.
